I ask as I have always thought Destiny was designed as a console game primarily.
So I can’t comment on PC.
My perception is PC would be significantly easier as you just point and click and you can do that with one hand very quickly.
However I don’t really know.
Thoughts?

Edited by an Ape with a d2 addiction: 12/23/2019 12:41:28 PMTo be nitpicky you're not asking about platform differences. You're asking about input device differences. Controller players compared to mouse and keyboard players. In practise there's no sense in the 'who's best' comparison across all devices. Each device has it's own performance and the only viable comparison as to 'what player is the best' can only be done withing one specific device at a time. If you compare the performance between devices, MnKB is faster and more accurate when performed on the optimal level. I'd dare say anyone telling you otherwise is either biased or dishonest. Controllers aren't used in actual PC FPS esports for a reason. I'd also argue the skill ceiling is comparably higher on MnKB. The really mechanically good MnKB players dominate average MnKB players harder compared to how the really mechanically good controller players dominate average controller players. This is based on how it's possible to be REALLY accurate and REALLY fast on MnKB if you put your back to it. There's basically no hardware limiting factors, unlike the multi-faceted stick movement on controllers that physically can't go as fast as a mouse cursor. MnKB isn't necessarily the easier input device / sandbox to play in because of that high-skill ceiling. As to whether pvp players are better, there's more to a good pvp player than the skill with your chosen input device / raw aim. I've seen many examples where top controller players swap to MnKB and immediately perform above the average MnKB players with their gamesense and positioning alone that carries their comparably average raw aim. Then they practise the MnKB aim muscle memory and eventually become top performers on their new device as well.
