Actually Eververse didn't ruin Destiny. Free to play has ruined Destiny and here's why. Destiny cannot function without revenue. We all know that. They are on their own 2 feet now. Which I respect. They wanted to create their vision of the game which I was really proud to be a part of. At first, I thought free to play was a great idea to get more people into the game. But with time the need for money has grown. Without the sales of the game, they needed a fast cash turn-a-round and the only way to get it in between seasons is Eververse. Now currently the best looking armor sets, emotes, sparrows, ships, and weapon ornaments are all Eververse. You can say "iT'S oNlY cOsMeTiC" but at the end of the day what are we grinding for if we can't get the best stuff? You can make the bright dust argument but something about playing the same bounties over and over again and then buying it isn't nearly as rewarding. I miss earning the good stuff. The solution? The hell if I know. I just know that I'm sad I have to buy the cool stuff. I'm not saying to delete Eververse or to make it cheaper. I just think Free to Play has crippled the Veteran experience for our rewards. So my question is- Is this really the game you want to be making Bungie? Or is it the game you HAVE to make. I hope to see the seasons improve and that everyone has a Happy Holiday. I'm not here to argue, I'm here for feedback for the game I love even though I hate it sometimes.
