Sundial rewards are 1-2 points below gear level
The last run I did on the sundial I was at gear level 958 (962 with power bonus). After completion my rewards were showing as 956 and 957. I had completed the sundial challenge the run before. Do the rewards drop at lower levels after completing the challenge for the week?

1 ReplyOnly the challenge rewards will be powerful. Regular runs will provide normal drops that will be -3 to 0 of your power level.
