A fun tip for those complaining about the PvP quest step for the Saint XIV mission...
Team Scorched is available this week in the top left corner of the Crucible directory. For those who don't know, everyone has a Scorch Cannon(yes, the Fallen ones), respawns are instant, and matches are short. So take to the skies and start blasting!
Some recommendations:
- Titans, use Lion Rampants
- Warlocks, use top tree Dawnblade(or Astrocyte with Blink if you're good at hitting people above you with the Cannon)
- Hunters, use Stomp-ees, Sixth Coyote, Jesters, or Graviton Forfeit with top tree Nightstalker for invis.(it's harder to see in third person)
Class abilities work there. Also, the orbs generated(Masterwork orbs count) and Super Kills don't have to be in Crucible.

Also, the people here yammering about "suck it up and do it" will be the first to post that they're tired of being match made with potatoes that don't know how to play PvP or don't cap control points, etc. or whining that some scrubs cost them their win streak. Personally I'm awful at PvP, but it only took two matches for me to get there (well, before the end of the second match but I wasn't going to bail). Didn't win either match, don't care. I wanted to see how the story played out and it was worth it. As long as Bungie puts PvP requirements in things people want (though putting it in a story quest is pretty bad) be prepared for some scrubs like me to be on your team.

Pro tip... you only have to get "GUARDIAN KILLS" PLEASE GOD TELL me the pve community can read. 25 super kills can be done anywhere 🤣🤣😂

I'm a dude that soloed to not forgotten and can't get more than 5 kills in team scorched 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I suck big time in that mode

Max your intellect and you get 2 supers per match. Bam down to 13 matches. Accidentally kill someone in each match between supers and you are down to 7. If it takes you more than 25 matches.... well... there's nothing we can do to help you.

I personally don't feel its about the number of kills in crucible but the fact Bungie required a pvp step into a story based mission that people are really complaining about. Just another dumb decision by Bungie that drives another wedge into the division between the pve/pvp only players. Another nice little tip: Scorched is the fastest game mode I've found to level up the Symmetry catalyst.

5 RepliesIt’s my that’s it’s a problem but it should be a pve only quest not pvp let alone having to go into gambit about it. The problem is pvp quest steps should never be a thing unless it’s for pvp quests or bounties. Many people are sick and tired of being forced to play pvp. An of your a person who says I’m tired of playing pve and you only play the game for pvp than you are what’s wrong with the game. Go play cod or battlefield if you want a strict pvp game.

3 RepliesI find it easier to get kills in survival than in team scorched. Most of the time in team scorched I shoot my enemies at point blank range,somehow the shot missed, and then they kill me no problem even if I jump.

Ya.... not going to bother, if Bungie has screwed up PVP so bad they have to include a PVP quest step in a PVE quest I will not be obliging them in helping raise their numbers.

8 RepliesI did Scorched yesterday for the quest and wow. I may not have stepped into crucible for a long while but games took forever to find, loading was really long, and the games themselves were terribly laggy. I dont understand how some people could deal with that amount of inconsistent lag.

I hate this pvp and did it in 2 matches. Really wasn’t a big deal unlike the bullshit they pull with iron banner.
