They put all the dawning event stuff in eververse
No event quest no event rewards
Bungie out did themselves this time
Destiny has become a example of what not to do
Now there is no reason to play the event

Dawning has been like this since day 1. I agree its frustrating but with how much money they make from it it's not going to change. You can atleast get an exotic sparrow, a decent solar MG, and that new SMG, from making cookies.

There are the event weapons and there is an event quest. I am not defending Eververse. Loot should be split 50/50 at least. But don't spread misinformation.
-
I just feel they could be doing more for these events instead of throwing everything in eververse
-
They could. I’m not saying they shouldn’t.
-
Weird, I have a quest for an exotic sparrow, to where I have to give baked items to specific NPCs. Seems oddly like a quest for this event, with a reward for this event.
-
Yes one reward that’s not enough
-
For a free event? Lol Let’s not forget the double XP they are basically giving to us. Along with a sub machine gun, which was free. It’s pretty much the same thing as last year. Now I don’t agree with the Eververse prices, but there is definitely a quest and reward that doesn’t require Eververse.
-
In destiny 1 you could earn engrams for the event by playing Now you get one lousy sparrow seems like they went backwards to me

In D1, eververse was strictly pay $. No in game currency. And from what I recall it wasn't really dawning but more so just SRL. Not really much Dawning was actually apart of the Dawning.

Also by the time of age of triumph you could get 3 triumph crates a week which had access to every eververse cosmetic to ever enter the store.

Oh my bad. The silver dust that was in a far worse place than bright dust is now. And the treasure boxes have ornaments. And the days of iron armor required multiple days of iron ornaments to actually get the ornament. And it was rng. D2 eververse is far more accessible. You buy what you want. And you don’t need multiple items for one ornament.

Dawning came into existence in D1Y3. Before that, it was only called SRL. You got “rewards” by playing. These rewards were good, or useless, but mostly useless.
