Please Give Symmetry the Unstoppable Mod Back

Hey guys, can we have the unstoppable mod back on Symmetry? I don't ask for much normally, but this weapon quickly became my favorite primary. I love to use this for adds and quickly halting those unstoppable champions in the sundial. It was a dream to use it as it was. But guys....you took its mod away. The mod that made it just absolutely lovely to use in the seasonal mode. Now....I'm forced to swap to an unstoppable... legendary. I get it. Different loadouts for different things. But this time, it's different. This is an amazing exotic and I think it should innately have the unstoppable mod on it. It's not busted. It's only usable on revolution. It's the seasonal exotic! Please Bungie, can we have this one back?

  • I just found this out... I have to say from the let down of the catalyst and now the "removal of a bug." The gun has gone from an exotic that made scouts fun for me, to in the vault for maybe a day in gambit. Time to go back to my only using legendary weapons since D1.

  • Symmetry may very well have an anti-champion perk built into the catalyst, which could be an idea why it was able to trigger Unstoppable bonuses with the alt-fire. Devil's Ruin will have Unstoppable bonuses tied to its laser beam, so it makes sense that they would not want both new Seasonal exotics to have the same Champion role.

    • Honestly, I think we just need to make the weapon artifact mods universal. This idea that bungie keeps changing the meta is annoying and unfun. I don’t have as much time to play as I would like, and I would prefer to spend most of that time playing with weapons I like. Not weapons I groan about using.

        • Well there goes my build settup for running sundial XD I assumed it was supposed to have that just like last seasons exotic had the inherent shield piercing perk for barrier champs. Glad I found out before running a NF ordeal with symmetry lol. It was doing really good on the unstoppables with a full stack of revolution and I like the weapon overall so increasing its viability in high level content would be much appreciated.

        • It really is disappointing that I have to pass on exotics so that I can put a champion mod on a legendary. All these famous guns that were in the hands of legends can't stop a champion? They really need to add an inherent champion perk to all of the exotics. I don't think letting us add any mod would be the answer, I'm sure it would make something unbalanced somewhere.

        • Exotic weapons are supposedly getting a weapon mod slot at some future date. This glaring oversight is why exotics have been getting overshadowed lately by pinnacle and ritual weapons.

          • I feel like Overload would fit the gun better. And we will be getting an unstoppable exotic soon anyway.

            • I think it’s hilarious that they unintentionally gave it to the weapon, making it remotely justifiable to use, then they remove it.
