Stop putting Scarlett Keep as the Ordeal Nightfall
There is zero loot or anything to gain from doing this nightfall, let’s try literally any other Nightfall with some loot to grind for(Corrupted) to help those who need to finish some easy seals like Wayfarer or Cursebreaker. I’ve seen this Scarlett Keep nightfall up 3 times now in a small window.

Would’ve have been so hard to at the very least move an exotic ship/ghost/sparrow to these strikes? Weapons are better yes but SURELY they could’ve done something...

It makes them stand out in a bad way. And I wish the DFA, Silicon Neuroma, Duty Bound, and Braytech 0sprey would vet updated with random rolls, or at least as curated year 2 weapons so they can take mods.

I don't bother with that strike. It sure has a lot of focus to it, but it contains zero exclusive rewards tied to it. No point in running it. Bungie can crap out more EV stuff but can't at least make an emblem for Broodhold, Festering Core, and Scarlett Keep. Also, Scarlett Keep's story pretty much ends with that strike. How anti-climatic. Hashlandun should have had her own raid lair, dungeon, or full raid.

Sure, not strike specific loot, but still not "zero loot" Also, keep in mind that the Ordeal Nightfall seems to be rotating per season based on the activities of the Season. We have had The Scarlet Keep strike as the Ordeal Nightfall 3 times since the launch of Shadowkeep (12 weeks of nightfalls). Based on the past rotation, we should expect to see it again in another 6 weeks. Here are the Ordeal Nightfalls we have had so far: Season of the Undying: 1. The Pyramidion (Vex) 2. The Scarlet Keep (Hive) 3. The Inverted Spire (Vex) 4. Savathun's Song (Hive) 5. A Garden World (Vex) 6. Strange Terrain (Hive) 7. The Pyramidion (Vex) 8. The Scarlet Keep (Hive) 9. The Inverted Spire (Vex) 10. Savathun's Song (Hive) Season of Dawn 1. The Arms Dealer (Cabal) 2. The Scarlet Keep (Hive) Based on that, I'd expect the following Nightfalls 3. Tree of Probabilities or Insight Terminus (Cabal) 4. Savathun's Song (Hive) 5. Tree of Probabilities or Insight Terminus (Cabal) 6. Strange Terrain (Hive) 7-12 repeat 13. The Arms Dealer (Cabal) Then next season, we would get strikes for a different enemy faction, probably Fallen. The main thing I find interesting is that neither Broodhold or Will of the Thousands are featured as Hive strikes for the Ordeal Nightfall.

6 RepliesI did a few Nightfalls this week and found that the difficulty level had increased by about 50% and the loot was worthless. If you are going to make an Adept Nightfall that difficult, you should at the very least, increase the value of the loot. It would help if the people who did this sort of stuff had to actually play the game in the area that they manage, over and over and....

yeah it sucks but i understand i need to buy the dlc to play this, man i have played a lot this game for free!!!! I am grateful with bungie that they have put this cool game for free, so not playing NF for a week is the least of my discomfort, thank you bungie I love you

It’s the newest content. I would rather play it than any of the others. I’ve not run this particular NF more than 10 or so times. The others I’ve done easily 50+. You should be fine with completing activities without receiving rewards. That’s one of D2s main components. Player time investment that goes unrewarded or respected. You’re a fire hydrant and Bungie is a dog. Guess what happens next?

Er, Scarlett keep being the ordeal that is there mainly for materials and exotics. The old nf playlist is still there. Why so stupid?
