EDZ Obelisk seems to be broken
I just finished the quest to unlock the EDZ Obelisk, and it isn't letting me interact with it

Known to be caused by being in an instance with a player who hasnt completed the quest to unlock it. If you get an empty instance after refreshing, it should work

If you get a broken instance, do anything to cause an instance change. Each time you change instance, recheck. No single specific action can cause a fix other than to change the instance you are on. All reported “fixes” merely “work” only because the end result is an instance change. Note: an “instance” is the game server you are connected to for whatever activity you have entered. Destiny is comprised of thousands of instance servers, each limited to a finite number of player connections. In Destiny, when you drop down from orbit, you enter a pool of instances of variable size based on your geographic location. Cycling instances quickly (fast-travel, crossing zone boundaries) moves your connection through the pool. If after 4-6 cycles you still don’t have the instance you need, orbit and return to invoke a new pool and repeat the process. This can take some time.

3 RepliesThis is why we consumers are the play testers and not actual paid employees at bungie. Does it make sense, no.. I still would love my paycheck as this "play tester" even though I paid for a finished product. It's like buying a car and the Dealer says "we dont know how the breaks work on this, which is why your here! Give us feedback"

Set date back one day then load in

All you have to do is manually change your ps4 time to like 2015, or some random time in the past, then reload into the instance, and you’ll be by yourself.

1 ReplyThey’re all broken in some way. Single strength is increase simultaneous sundial links, yet even though I’ve increased that by 1, my max allowed is still 1. Maybe my math is wrong, but I expected 1 like plus 1 link would be 2. But no. Bungie’s answer is that still equals 1. I’m calling that broken.

As long as she lives, the threat of Crota's return will haunt this world. Track her down, and exterminate every Hive that stands in your way.

Quite a few people are having this problem. Mine worked after I finished the Nessus Obelisk.

Travel back to the spot next to it, fixed it for me atleast.
