Wielding arbalest is a terrible experience
On console worst gun I have ever needed to use, no fun, 35 final blows left omg let it be over, let me kill u lol
Finished it last night. All I’m saying was it weren’t fun.

I’m enjoying flinching the balls off of arbalest users with the Patron of Lost Souls Scout w/ drop mag, full auto, and explosive payload. It’s funny watching them not being able to change a shot while they are constantly taking shots to the dome.

2 RepliesArbalist is weird and inconsistent. It has less aim assist than snipers, bows, scouts, and heavy linears. Sometimes it gives me a precision kill when I shouldn't have and other times the bullet flys past their head despite being perfectly centered on their dome.

2 RepliesProblem with fusions is they buffed them in the wrong way. They just made them easy to use my upping the aim assist so it can hit round corners. Instead they should have made them do more damage, have a slightly lower charge time and have slightly higher handling.

Xbox one they are all over clash and comp because apparently they’re using some mod to get one hit kills to the body. That’s all I’m dying from. All these weak players are now wielding a gun that all you need to do is hit the body and you get a kill. Bungie needs to fix ASAP.

Edited by jaybird_29730: 12/18/2019 12:13:21 PMLinear fusions aren’t my cup of tea either... I do want the pinnacle for completion purposes though. So I decided to give it a go. I ran middle tree striker, not to intentionally whiff every super the entire night, but for inertia override. This allows you to slide over ammo, and then ohk body with Arbalest. I was able to complete a good portion of the quest in 10 or less matches of control, leaving 65 kills for the next time I play. Hope this helps!

Decided to use it for a bit while doing the pvp part of the Sundial quest. Wasn't pleasant since I'm not used to using linears in Crucible. It feels lackluster even in PvE though. Its shield busting and kinetic enhancing capabilities get weaker in higher end activities, especially against match game, and anti-barrier rounds rival its non-elemental shield busing capabilities. The only real thing going for it is using special ammo as opposed to heavy ammo like other linears, which is the sole reason it's even being used for the ritual quest.

As soon as the quest steps are concluded, I’m sure this months weapon of choice will be stowed away .

I got arbalest and ice heart in one session the other day. It’s like D2 wants me to be a cheeser. But I won’t give in! Honestly don’t care about the Komodo at all. Now legitimately nice auto rifle? That would peak my interest.

I didn't mind it so much. Finished last night as well. Though, that being said, I can't see using it again. Its already useless in PVE due to inzinagi's, and much better/more fun options in PVP.

It's like a sniper on actual easy mode, it's just a bit boring if you ask me. The hitboxes are so incredibly forgiving.

3 RepliesStrangely inconsistent on console. I've lined up my shot with an AFK player's head, fired and.....nothing. Didn't even register. Then I'll get into a crazy firefight and I fire wildly. Drop a guy even though the shot was waaaay off.

It’s on you for completing trash quests for trash weapons. The fact that you completed it only gives leeway for Bungie to make more like that.

They just upped the aim assist/accuracy of linear fusions and on top of that gave out free enhanced mods so don't complain lol. Personally not interested in getting Komodo but I see a lot of people with Arbalest and they seem to hit even through flinch quite often.

2 RepliesDude I played on xbox and i grinded the liner fusion rifle best advice start charging at the feet and move your stick upward as it charging then by the time it gets to the head BOOM they are dead (got it on the first day)

It's a PvE gun made to eat Shields and here you are using it in PvP and complaining that it sucks to use in PvP... Hrmmmm... What's the problem here?
