Discovering Mtop's climbing ability on sticky grenades was one of few mechanics in game that were surprising in a good way.
To begin with most players did not know or cared about this ability since the real only gain you really had from it was skipping Ogre fight in Shattered throne (that would be easily fixed by just fixing the hole in the wall that shouldn't be there in the first place).
Mtop's sticky grenades were amazing tool to explore beyond the designated play area, to find great places to enjoy beautiful landscape D2 has.
Bungie, you've learned how to prevent skipping encounters in GoS: you have to finish A encounter to be able to activate B encounter. Also you've modified the chests so you can't get loot without doing the raid and the chests have no powerful loot in them meaning there is no reason to stop this small % of players who wants to dedicate 10+min for 1-2 non-powerful armor pieces.
You might be right in removing ability to climb from Sticky Grenades, however Mtop should have its Sticky Grenades reworked into Climbing Grenades with the same stats as Sticky Grenades, just different name and ability to stand on them for the small % of players who have been using this ability.
Bungie, you're slowly killing all fun aspect of this game for no reason. You've started heading into the wrong future, fix the timeline before it's too late, after all you have Sundial this season so you have the ability to fix it before it's too late.
