I was playing my game and saw I had a notification in my destiny group discord. it was a download from a trusted ranked player in the discord, when I tried to open it nothing happened. Go to click back on my destiny game and boom, I am banned and have no idea what it was for but it has to do something with that download. Please look into my account, I have never broken any rules. I am a PVM player and bind my own. Seriously please look into this, I know bans are final but I seriously did nothing wrong. PLEASE HELP, that account is my life :(

Edited by BNGSecurity: 12/10/2019 1:11:03 AMYour account was banned on Dec 9th after multiple different publicly available aiming cheats, which were created specifically for Destiny 2, were detected running under your account. The data leading to your ban has been reviewed and validated. Your punishment will not be reversed. For more info on behavior that can lead to account bans visit https://bungie.net/bans

1 ReplyI dont even know what the program was, it was something I downloaded (I assume) from my discord. One second I download it, wouldn't open. Asked about it, then went back to play my game. The instant I opened destiny it was banned. IDK, really disappointing that dumping this much time into the game to have it end like that and be treated like a felon by bungie when I wasn't guilty of anything.

3 RepliesEdited by mrbird33: 12/9/2019 10:41:26 AMThey did look at your account. Srt did a manual investigation and manually placed the ban. Its their policy not to discuss bans or answer ban posts. More than likely you had programs on your pc that violated the rules

Typically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, auto-fire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific. There has also been an increase in bans due to Network Manipulation. These are usually caused by you or a member of your pre-made fireteam doing something... less than honorable behind the scenes of your matches. If it was not you, then it was a member of your team and Bungie has no real way to determine how much or little you knew about the player who was doing it, but it should have been obvious is that something fishy was going on. One of the biggest indicators of network manipulation and the largest red flag to bail out of your team is when your enemy loses 1 or more players in numerous matches. This is the alarm to save your account and bail out of the team Since Bans are manually reviewed before being placed, the actual cause of the ban could have been any play session over the past few weeks. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason. There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. Bans are lifetime for that account bans and restrictions policy page *I am not a Bungie representative, just a player trying to give the answers that are available.

1 ReplyA few recently banned accounts can be seen here with BNGSecurity’s reply Banned accounts here I could show you so many. So, if you want to pursue your claim of innocence then you may end up with a very red face. PC users take special note to NO 2 for ban reasons. Doing something once / 1 time does not lead to a restriction or ban unless you are using code injecting software or cheating in some way. Connection based restrictions or bans you are given a warning about your connection first before any restriction or ban is places. Bungie investigates accounts before they hand out any restrictions or bans. After investigating your account, they found a reason. They will not remove this restriction/ban. On the occasions they do respond, the answer will give a date and a very brief reason which will be one of the following below. 1. Cheating 2. Any software being detected by Destiny while it's running. These could include Trainers, Aimbots, Auto-fire, Mods, Graphics Hacks, anything that injects code into games. DESTINY 2 PC AND THIRD-PARTY APPLICATION FEATURE COMPATIBILITY Also see Steam Service Agreement section 4. ONLINE CONDUCT, CHEATING, AND ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR 3. An unstable connection is having an impact on other players. 1 ReplyWhy would I dump a total of $300 into game and DLCs I purchased over the time of playing, another 50 last week for the moon DLC just to risk that. IF I were to hack or do anything it would be on a free account that I can create in 20 seconds, not on my account I have had for 2 years and recently paid for new DLC ontop of having previously purchased all DLCs before. Please seriously.
