Went to the Master Chief collection for Halo Reach. Goodbye and good riddance!
A game with your name on it will be your greatest downfall. You know. I find it hilarious how a game that ran on a seventh gen console can loads MILES faster than this hunk of junk you call a game Bungie. Your logic “Our game is so massive it has to load longer! Get a solid state drive and shave off fifteen seconds out of the two minutes” Yeah, and sit there realizing what a bad decision I made and could be playing something better. You know, I can take a s**t faster than your load times, no joke!
Also I’d like to point out Halo PvP is soooo much more skilled and rewarding rather than just running around with Zero IQ shotgunners in this game and people claiming “It’s so much more skilled to use power weapons opposing to using a primary. For folks who think this I invite you to come play Halo. You won’t last a minute without your precious Shotuns and other power weapons!!! I can see it now, you’ll loose and go beg 343 industries to “change the weapon system” to have one assault rifle and a shotgun like you did with Destiny just because you couldn’t win with duels primaries... KINDA LIKE HALO HAS and always had. So next time you whines about how bad duel primaries were in the first year of Destiny 2 just think about that if you played Halo for years like me 😉

13 RepliesTsss... Back in the day, Reach was the most hated Halo. Armor Lock, anyone? It got only "surpassed" by Halo 4, hence the saying "Reach killed Halo, H4 buried it". What brainwashing has happened for people to now actually praise it? Play the trilogy.

It's pretty bad when the apparently worst Halo, as some say, is still miles better than Destiny in the gameplay department. I had forgotten what it was like to actually need to use even a little bit of brain power to play. I was genuinely confused for a moment when I didn't get a hitmarker. That's how much games baby players these days.

Problem with MCC is that they did a terrible PC port the game breaks with HDR, no advanced graphics settings, poor audio quality, even slower responses from dev's (I have been waiting a week for a response back about my issues), and you can't play onlIne without the anti cheat that I can't use due to the games kicking me out for using software like (g.skill lighting, Asus gpu tweak 2, and icue that manages my headset sound profiles to help with the poor audio they have cause I love hearing Spartans constantly breath heavily over dialogue. 10/10 game 3/10 port.

Destiny has a much higher skill ceiling than Halo. Halo has a higher floor, but a much lower ceiling. Destiny may have some busted stuff, but Halo's mechanics are so limited and basic that 90% of the time, good players simply can't pull off skillful plays they can in other games. Halo can be skillful if you're [i]really[/i] good, but for everyone else it's a very casual multiplayer.

I’ve been enjoying reach all weekend . Good stuff . Forgot how much fun that game was . Now with that said - it’s still no destiny , the gunplay is great but destiny feels different and better . FYI every time I play the “space mission” in reach it makes me sad thinking how bad bungie dropped the ball there. With destiny . No clue why they didn’t incorporate some flying magic into the game. How bad ass it would’ve been to have the controls for Eris’s ship when we landed or attempted to land on the dreadnaught. Take your break from d2 .. enjoy a classic then I’ll see you in d3 . :)

But I saw this and had to say what I was thinking....Reach is my favorite of the Halo series and my favorite multiplayer FPS of all time. Don’t buy this worthless MCC port. Yes, the game is beautiful. But the multiplayer is absolutely trash. They took Reach and perverted it to make it more like lesser Halos. It’s all title updated, all DMR starts. Unless that disgusting nonsense is really what you enjoy, or you want to re-experience the campaign in 4K 60fps (all I can enjoy of it at this point) don’t waste your ten bucks or your time.

2 RepliesSure, Halo Reach was great in it's day. I would make the opposite argument, it's amazing how far Bungie has come, graphics and gameplay are so much better in Destiny compared to Halo, and you get the three campaigns for free in Destiny. Also, I only paid for Destiny on PS4, my PC version is free. I own the Xbox MCC collection but I have to repay on PC. Destiny is the clear winner to me
