My team in gambit was 5 motes and the other team was 92 motes........

2 RepliesInstead, make leaving matches significant more punishing. People leave strikes on the first death, crucible matches as soon as the enemy team gets ahead, or after losing a single round in gambit/ survival. It’s a disgustingly consistent problem.

I think we all need to reflect on the efficiency of the current system before we ask for changes like this. Why ruin only 1 group of players experience (players left in the game after others leave) when you can ruin 2 group of players experiences (players coming into the match).

7 RepliesThey should have a check box preference which reads "Only Join Match Made Activities at the Start, which may add extra wait time for any Activity". It would apply to Strikes, Gambit and Crucible. And i have been asking for this since D1 Beta on Xbox 360 - that's how long it's been asked for over and over and over.

Some Games like CoD where when you do join Mid Match, it doesn’t count as a loss. Both would be good for Bungie to Implement.

Gambit needs a proper mercy rule like crucible, i enjoy gambit and i’ll try stick these matches out if doing bounties but agree its very frustrating...

2 RepliesTry 95 to 0 and I'm on team Spud. Bank is full of blockers, invader just shitting on the poor tater tots, me with limited special, some primary, no heavy, no super. I leave and I get punished?! That's just -blam!-ed up! Why should I get punished for the game putting me in a match in which I've no shot of being successful.

Its really fun in PvP when they join you into a match where the teams end up having to be broken up afterwards. There is absolutely no point most of the time.

2 RepliesYeah it's the same for crucible and strikes too. Like i specifically selected that new strike on Io since i've not done it yet and got loaded into one in progress.. (immediately returned to orbit since i just want to play it through properly and see the story of it) Crucible is just frustrating since half the time you get loaded in as the match gets mercy ruled, either that or you're loaded in with way less super than everyone else.

2 RepliesI understand the frustration of that but it also sucks being down a player and never having a new person brought in to replace that player. I personally think it should stay as is but I do understand why some people want it changed.

This, for every matchmade activity, but as an option. A: I want to play as fast as possible and resign myself to joining late games. (Sometimes this isn't terrible, like the Eriana catalyst, win or lose you still get progress!) B: I want the real experience and don't mind waiting for a fresh game. No more loading into strikes bloobs couldn't finish, or in the middle of the boss at VO when you just need to grind out weapon kills, or at the tail end of a pvp game where your team was getting rolled. C: I don't mind being backfill, but would prefer a fresh game. Prioritizes people in option A to get games faster, but may still get snagged if no A folks are in queue.

I like how team balancing is broken too, and it'll take forever for a new person to join if someone on your team leaves/gets disconnected/gets DDoSed or drophacked.

At least you got in. I even got a warning screen for this telling me not to quit Gambit matches.

Bungie matchmaking system is not working well because there just arent enough players in these events to make a balanced match.

I know this isn’t what you were looking for but I LOVE those games. It means I can get the weekly reward and get out of there even faster. Gambit is the worst.
