Hello ya'll. It's been about three weeks now since I've been permanently banned. I've been playing Destiny 2 for a long time and have loved the game ever since its release. With Shadowkeep coming out (and the Season of Undying), my love for this game has reached higher limits. Recently, during one of my gambit matches, I used my One Small Step with One-Two punch and did massive damage to the primeval. Doing so kicked me out of the match. I thought that it was no biggie, but upon logging back in I was greeted with a ban. A permanent ban...I am not a hacker by any means and have played this game the way it should be played as stated in Bungie's section of the ban page. This ban broke my heart. I looked at their ban policy and they state that they monitor permanent bans closely and that these bans are irreversible. Reading this discouraged me to pursue the appeal for my case. However, looking at the new Season of Dawn and reminiscing on my past achievements in the game, I wish to appeal my (what I think is an unjust) ban. I wish for Bungie to overlook my account once more...please.
TLDR: I was permanently banned by using One-Two punch (or so I think) and wish to have it overlooked by Bungie once more to get my account reinstated.

Edited by BNGSecurity: 12/5/2019 9:37:16 PMYour ban was issued on Nov 11th when your account was detected attempting to use an aiming cheat created specifically for Destiny 2 The data leading to your ban has been reviewed and validated. The punishment will not be reversed. For more information on behavior that can lead to account bans visit https://bungie.net/bans

1 ReplyEdited by mpuchar: 12/5/2019 6:38:04 PMTwo people on your team had half-banked medals in that game, including yourself. I know that's possible but highly unlikely. You were probably using a network limiter to deposit the same motes over and over again, (lag-switching) and now you're coming on here playing dumb. I've seen this happen on pc, in both gambit modes as well as the raid. (Pretty much any game mode with motes) If that's the case then you deserved the ban.
one-two punch 4head
Yea, okay. You're using a perk made by the devs in PvP and it's a bannable offense. Keep telling yourself you didn't do anything wrong. You're most likely using lag switching or third party programs to do some wonky crap.

Putting destiny on pc was a mistake, because of people like this

3 RepliesLove it when cheaters try to explain themselves with some bs story and how they love the game and are "heart broken". Warms me up inside. Enjoy that ban hammer cheater! You won't be missed!
-
If you love Destiny that much. Think of all the new memories while building up a new profile. FYI, don't cheat on the new account. 🤣
-
I love the lies cheaters come up with. I have to ask, did you actually expect people would believe this, or was this simply a Hail Mary?
-
Cheaters should be banned. Cheaters IN GAMBIT should suffer a north koreanesque ban that spans generations! F this kid and his kids kids
-
7 RepliesYeah nice gambit game history dickhead.
-
So glad they are dealing with cheaters. A little late but needed nonetheless.

There's no pattern to his games that would indicate cheating other than 3 really good games in the last 9 months. He's usually very average in both crucible and gambit. Either he's actually a far worse player and he's aimbotting or Bungie made a mistake. The later seems more plausible, but Id like to see the account review.
-
Considering the amount of people who've put up videos of them using one-two and not reporting being banned afterward, I'mma go ahead and call lies.
-
You would only have gotten a permanent ban if you were cheating.
-
TLDR: I was banned because I cheated, and because im a script kiddy I deserve to be unbanned.
-
How much thought did you put into this lie? 5 seconds?

2 RepliesI’m willing to upvote this to let a ninja see, but if you end up with egg on your face for bad connection or using software you weren’t suppose to, I want to know about it.
-
You're on PC. You had something running on your PC that Bungie flagged as cheating. It was not using 1-2 punch. The only way you get back into D2 is by creating a new account and starting from scratch. Also, if you can't control what is running on your PC, I'd suggest using a console.
-
I've been maining 1-2 punch since liars handshake came out and I have not received a ban 🤷♂️
-
One two punch will not get you banned. Bye bye cheater

2 RepliesWhy is using a op method a "cheat"
-

2 RepliesIt took them years to ban clay....

3 RepliesA few recently banned accounts can be seen here with BNGSecurity’s reply Banned accounts here I could show you so many. So, if you want to pursue your claim of innocence then you may end up with a very red face. PC users take special note to NO 2 for ban reasons. Doing something once / 1 time does not lead to a restriction or ban unless you are using code injecting software or cheating in some way. Connection based restrictions or bans you are given a warning about your connection first before any restriction or ban is places. Bungie investigates accounts before they hand out any restrictions or bans. After investigating your account, they found a reason. They will not remove this restriction/ban. On the occasions they do respond, the answer will give a date and a very brief reason which will be one of the following below. 1. Cheating 2. Any software being detected by Destiny while it's running. These could include Trainers, Aimbots, Auto-fire, Mods, Graphics Hacks, anything that injects code into games. Also see Steam Service Agreement section 4. ONLINE CONDUCT, CHEATING AND ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR 3. An unstable connection is having an impact on other players. I'm not even gonna check if this is true because I know it's not. Bungie barely bans anyone and that includes the cheaters so I'm pretty damn sure they aren't gonna ban you for doing good damage in Gambit when bosses are getting melted by everyone in everything.
