I haven't seen lag switch or mods all i remember was loading into the matches an not seeing the other team which i assume was ddos.

If it's happening a lot he probably is. In D1 it happened to me every time at least once. Same for my clanmates. You could even look up players who made it to the lighthouse and see they won several matches with the entire team having 0 kills and 0 deaths. Obvious, right?
