This is just my opinion so feel free to state yours. I really find this new formula kinda ..not that great. What I like about them: You can farm loot over and over to get the perfect roll (menagerie, vex offensive,...) You can just load in and play mindlessly with music on. Now what I don't like about them: That they will go away (vex offensive). That they don't really progress the story. They can get boring really fast. The rewards aren't that good, aka just basic weapons ( I have great rolls on almost all weapon archetypes). Now to be clear I really love menagerie: rewarding, can give you literally everything you need gear or guns, and is not just mindlessly easy as vex o. If you want to be effective you have to do the objective or else it will take you more encounters to finish. The design theme and looks and gameplay is just amazing. Vex offensive was just designed to be disposable, to be never missed after it was gone, which is something you can't have if it's a fun thing to do !! Which is something I fear will be the case in all next seasonal update For me destiny is just the amazing story, which imo didn't go anywhere since forsaken (yeah right I find shadow keep to be very poor in story .. wow the pyramid ... Eris' fireteam stories And that was it) No new strikes or adventures or maps or gambit fixes is just not the way I imagined destiny. I will take something like warmind for 20€ everyday of the week over a 10€ vex offensive!! I like exploring planets and lost sectors and doing adventures that explain new stories and a nice campaign and you know, destiny Not the seasonal mess that is being delivered now
