I'm sure this has been posted about already, but I feel like it needs to be stressed again.
I am completely fine with the elemental types on legendary gear.
When it comes to exotics and how rate they are, you should be able to re-roll this energy for some type of cost.
The point of armor 2.0 is to have total control of your build. Which you do until you get to your exotic and if you have the wrong energy type it ruins the build. Armor 2.0 is awesome and if this change could be made, it would be near perfect.

This is the single most important change they could make right now. I would love to experiment with other builds on my exotic chest piece. It makes sense that legendary armor is locked in to promote replayability, but exotics are just too rare, and there's no guaranteed way of obtaining the element you want, even if it was a very low stat roll like 40 or below.
