This was one of my favourite maps in D1, I’m super excited to play on it again. I’m curious if there are going to be differences from how it originally was. I loved fighting for ground between B and A, so we’ll see.

Helll yeah! I love this map because its one of the few where you wanted a good ranged weapon, a medium range weapon and a good upclose and in your face weapon. I just hope the sniper cheese spot does not reappear!

6 RepliesI love Rusted Lands. The D1 maps were much better. Even their annoying Vex maps weren't as bad as what we have in D2. Convergence, for example. Worst map in the game, especially for 6v6.

Rusted Lands wasn't a bad map, but I liked quite a few other maps much more. I would have picked Blind Watch or Firebase Delphi.

Anomaly is basically the same size as retribution, and that map got pulled because it was so unpopular. I’d rather Frontier or Black Shield

That map is good. I liked it in D1. Bring all maps! I would not mind taking for a spin D2 weapons in them. Instead of Comedian, Marador, we would get Mindbender’s Ambituon in your face.

I want them to bring all Y1 maps back over time while also bringing in new maps. My main reason being is the D1 maps were meant for 6v6 which we're kind of in need of, while they can create new maps to fit 3v3, 4v4 or who knows, I would love to hope they'd bring back Combined Arms over time as well. We'll see though I guess.
