Last week, I along with other players have mentioned that more error codes were popping up during Iron Banner. There were also many cases of "Contacting Destiny 2 Servers..." among the errors. The error codes varied and it seemed to be at its worst point during the early weekend. Error codes that I had on my end included Cabbage, Lettuce, Anteater (which I don't normally get anymore), Rabbit and Currant. Many other players reported a lot of Kale errors as well, which I'm sure you are aware of already. Now behold. After Iron Banner ended, connection is once again fine and steady for a lot of players that had the errors jump up during that time. I VERY STRONGLY doubt it is a coincidence that this happens every time Iron Banner comes around. And the connection issues do not happen exclusively in that activity, but alongside the event. I continue to urge the Bungie team to look into the servers during Iron Banner. Perhaps the next time it comes around, maybe? I still love the game. I just want to help it grow and be more accessible.
DEDICATED SERVERS...This should be the #1 top priority over all things Destiny 2. The current state of the servers ensures people won't get on if the quality of life is constant rage because of rubber banding and crashes. My game is in shambles right now, barely playable because of server issues. See my threads if you're interested in my plight over here. I haven't been able to play for more than 10 minutes before something goes wrong since November 23rd. On a serious note: if this stuff isn't resolved, this 5 year veteran player is out for good. I just can't spend money on a game I don't have much time to play for it to not work when I make time. Simple as that.
