"Hebridean thoughtcrime" what does it actually mean ?

After almost a year and a half of intense grinding , I finally got one of the very few reamaining ships which I don't have , the iron banner "Hebridean thoughtcrime" and , as we all know , all ships (all items in fact) in destiny have some meaning attached to their name and description . Some are mean puns , others are more metaphoric , poetic or esoteric . I've managed to decipher most of them , but I simply cannot understand what this on means . Is it a reference to a movie or a book ? Some pun that escaped my attention ? FYI the description reads "what were you thinking ?" Saladin's wish to the Ahamkara, to fight a real dragon... I think this could have possibly been a low-key reference to his lore in the making!
