Warlock PvP Super issues

Nova Warp: This Super no longer functions well in PvP, it has great neutral game but the Super got nerfed in every single way possible: blast radius, damage against Guardians, charge time, charge cost, dark blink, holding a charge, damage resistance, movement speed while charging, etc... I understand the reason it got hit so hard. But in my opinion, it was hit 1000x harder than any Super has been hit before at one time. This was supposed to be a PvP Super, but it went from overkill to the grave ⚰️. After it was brought back from the grave during ARC WEEK, I thought it was pretty well balanced. It had just enough armor to make what was done to it bearable. But when Shadowkeep launched, ALL roaming Supers across the board were hit with a double nerf to damage resistance. The first being base armor resistance, the second was masterworked armor no longer having any resistance. These 2 nerfs combined with “slowed movement while charging,” killed Nova Warp [u]again[/u]. Even if my recommended solution created a monster, it will end very quickly. So just try to learn how to counter it please. I know Astrocyte Verse causes an issue with how far this Super can travel, but the majority of players that have mastered blink is very low. I’m not someone that can use blink, I can use dark-blink but not blink. Keep in mind I’m [u][b]NOT[/b][/u] asking for more armor, the ability to blast other players out of a Super, or even the blast radius reverted. All I’m asking for is to make Nova Warp a go-to option for Warlocks in the Crucible again. We won’t have many options next season due to some nerfs inbound, so can this one get some love? Here’s my suggestion on how to fix Nova Warp: [spoiler]Decrease charge time from 0.7 to 0.5 seconds. Remove slowed movement while charging. Decrease duration from 22 to 16 seconds. Lower the cost of a fully charged blast to allow 8 detonations within this time frame. Remove the cost of using dark-blink. Remove the extra cost to hold a charged blast. Increase PvE damage against majors & mini-bosses by 40%.[/spoiler]

[b]All I’m asking for is to make Nova Warp a go-to option for Warlocks in the Crucible again.[/b] We won’t have many options next season due to some nerfs inbound, so can this one get some love?[/quote] When the nerfs were applied, the team also put some work into buffing other skilltrees on Warlocks to make them more appealing, as Nova Warp was essentially the "go-to", or "end all be all" of Warlock Supers. It's a mix that players were only using the subclass, but players were giving feedback that it was the only subclass being used in crucible play. We've been seeing the feedback that the nerf was too hard, but we're also seeing plays in the crucible (from non-streamers) where the super can be used effectively. We're also seeing players using the Handheld Super-Nova with frequent success. Do you have any specific instances where the super felt underpowered due to enemies living through a fully charged blast? Are there instances where you've been gunned down by a single opponent and felt it was too quick? Throw some videos at me.
