This is way more beneficial than hurtful to the Destiny community... Many people will disagree without even thinking about how nice it would be.
People already make tons of money from Destiny. Imagine a PVE player trading some enhancement cores for help with legend, instead of paying some 3rd party site hundreds....
What about the god roll weapon that is useless to me, but someone else farms an endless amount of hours and still can’t get?
What about all of the extra mats a player has but will never have any use for.
A trade system will bring an entire new economy to the game and give it more life.

4 RepliesWe had if you would have checked the forum A post on this subject which had 0 upvotes and over 200 comments a few days ago. Nobody wants this. It was not wanted in D1 and still not wanted in D2.

This is been a topic for five years and they will never do it. If they would even consider it the only way to do it is how the Division does it now. Meaning you only have a limited amount of time and can only do it with the fire team you are currently with. Anything beyond that and you will have a giant market Place on the Internet of people trying to sell weapons, that’s a big NO from me.

Not a trading system but a sharing system. Divisions sharing system allows for an item to be shared to people that were in your group when you got that item. This would be great for Destiny.

Nope, If this happens Bungie loses control to outside vendors, we will have bots announcing ingame sale of items for real money, no thanks. An example of this is Warframe, you can be playing for 5 years and your friend starts yesterday, if he puts real money he will have everything you have and a little more. Just no.

2 RepliesDestiny is a “Looter-Shooter.” By adding a trading system, people no longer have to earn their rewards. What you’re suggesting is basically legalized account recoveries.

2 RepliesHow much do you think some would pay for that god roll weapon that you don't need? This would open up the 3rd party monetary potential even more. I would be for trading with the AI, like how it works with spider. But expanded so you can trade anything for anything. Everything can be assigned a value in terms of other things. Maybe your god roll weapon is worth 100 planetary materials or 25 legendary shards or 10 menagerie runes.
