To keep a long story short my friend Sublime Fsh was playing minecraft with mods/ hacks and stupidly forgot to turn them off when he got on destiny, he then decided to get on to the heroic whisper mission for some reason even though he has the catalyst (dont ask me why) and then was banned about 5 minutes into the mission. Ultimately, he did use hacks (however accidental it was) it was so i'm not asking for a complete un-ban, I was thinking just a few months instead of perma because he really meant no harm to the integrity of your game, he was just being brain-dead at 4 am like usual. Ultimately its your choice so i leave the judging up to you but please at least consider shortening his ban to a few months or even a year because i miss playing with him.
Thanks

(also i can provide any specifics that you need, just ask)

Dosent matter, bungie made is 100% clear to make sure to close any hacks or cheats for other games before playing Destiny 2. Perma Ban.
-
Why not just have Destiny 2 on a different boot drive?

2 RepliesI love when people cheat in another game and get banned here. Just a proof of concept why cheaters never win.

Threats. Begging. It is all irrelevant. They make the rules. We have to follow them. Break them and they penalize you. There is NO course of action to appeal any punishment issued. They WILL NOT lessen or remove any punishment issued for any reason. They've had this no tolerance policy since Day 1 of D1. It won't change anytime soon. Intentionally or not their account broke the rules. Ignorance of the rules doesn't exempt them from them. Their account is done. There is literally nothing they can do about it. So their only two options are to buy the content again on a new or move on.

Didn't even read main body of post. Was all crystal clear in heading. Had mods/hacks running. Game over. The account is finished.
