[b]Want to make clear that I dont think the upcoming nerf is bad. Its just the reasoning behind it[/b] Why nerf the recluse? Everyone I know is under the assumption that its the best overall gun in D2. There is one significant issue with that statement. Its not the strongest in raids or any PvE activity. "Its too easy to use" is another argument. Who cares? Nerfing the damage so it doesn't default to crit numbers with Master of Arms passive. Ok that's fine. We all know it wont stop. They will nerf this pinnacle until inevitably it isn't unique. Whisper of the Worm was in every loadout until it lost most of it being unique. Did that fix anything? So to fix things they try to make them so bad that nothing compares? They fall under the path of "its good so get rid of it". My loadout for strikes without recluse is Izanagis Burden - Loaded Question - Hammerhead. Same loadout for raids but Ikelos instead of Loaded Question. Recluse is more fun overall. Im not telling anyone not to nerf it. Its fine if I have to headshot. Its not hard on console or PC to do so. Just don't continue to nerf it until its unusable. I have to be close range for it to feel good. Its fine where it is and the upcoming nerf is fine. No further. Before Recluse. I had 1 loadout. That's it. Used it for everything. That's boring. Is it best in slot primary? Maybe but its not best in slot energy weapon. I will likely get called ignorant or someone clinging to a weapon for no reason. I don't really care. This is less of a discussion and me just wanting my opinion on the matter to be heard. I will shut up now.
