i was playing on my account and got weaseled and it said account was banned, but it was fine earlier today? wondering what thats for as i have not done anything to break rules. please give me insight on this and reverse it as soon as possible, i had someone on my account helping me with stuff but nothing against TOS happened, ive played this game for the last 2 years i dont deserve to have my account banned for nothing. last time i checked having a recovery done was not against TOS as many people do it. please look into it as i know i have not done anything wrong

So your hunter which you clearly paid for wins against other players is a clear indication of your cheating and is completely against the TOS.

1 ReplyHope you didn't pay for it, at least. Because you won't get this account back.

First off, that match history. XD Second, recoveries are absolutely against game ToS and also against platform ToS. Quoted for the annals of history. Emphasis mine.
Spencer my account was recently mistakenly banned. please help. i was playing on my account and got weaseled and it said account was banned, but it was fine earlier today? wondering what thats for as i have not done anything to break rules. please give me insight on this and reverse it as soon as possible, i had someone on my account helping me with stuff but nothing against TOS happened, ive played this game for the last 2 years i dont deserve to have my account banned for nothing. 6 RepliesEnjoy the ban cheater. They make the rules. We have to follow them. Break them and they penalize you. There is NO course of action to appeal any punishment issued. They WILL NOT lessen or remove any punishment issued for any reason. They've had this no tolerance policy since Day 1 of D1. It won't change anytime soon.

Here’s a few of your games from 10/23/19 https://www.bungie.net/en/PGCR/4973621883?character=2305843009301585406 https://www.bungie.net/en/PGCR/4973574009?character=2305843009301585406 https://www.bungie.net/en/PGCR/4973493332?character=2305843009301585406 These games (and the others that I didn’t link) are the most likely reason for your ban.

Edited by TuxyDoh: 11/28/2019 8:28:49 PM1. The ban caused the weasel error. 2. Recoveries are against the rules, code of conduct, section 7, impersonation. 3. By partaking in a recovery you are now responsible for all actions that the person who recovered your account did. So if they had a restricted application or cheat running, or had any network manipulation during that time you are stll liable for it. That said: Typically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, auto-fire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Once an account is banned however, that ban is permanent. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason. There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. Bans are lifetime for that account https://twitter.com/Bungie/status/1179836392953675776 <- Most recent info bans and restrictions policy page *I am not a Bungie representative, just a player trying to give the answers that are available.
i was playing on my account and got weaseled and it said account was banned, but it was fine earlier today? wondering what thats for as i have not done anything to break rules. please give me insight on this and reverse it as soon as possible, i had someone on my account helping me with stuff but nothing against TOS happened, ive played this game for the last 2 years i dont deserve to have my account banned for nothing. last time i checked having a recovery done was not against TOS as many people do it. please look into it as i know i have not done anything wrong
