Vanguard Ritual Weapon should be a Lightweight Sword next Season
I know a lot of people will cry and complain with “swords are awful” and “swords are dumb”, but I have loved swords ever since hunters got the Quickfang in vanilla. We are now in season 9 and I still won’t touch a sword on my Titan or warlock because nothing compares to how fun the lightweight Frame is. A lightweight sword for all three classes to use would actually be a valuable reward for people to seek, especially for those Titan and warlock mains out there. Perks like Jagged Edge, Infinite guard, Energy Transfer/En Garde, and Counterattack/Whirlwind Blade would make this ritual sword a true pinnacle reward without it being “pinnacle”.

Also, why a sword? I would love a Trace Rifle in Legendary Slot, even if doesn't have a useful pero.

Man i wanted a Pinnacle crucible sword that boosted speed and jump height when you had ammo in it, just make you a full on space ninja. I think a ritual sword could be cool though, very underutilized weapon class.

I would like to see a Crucible Heavy pinnacle/ ritual weapon next season... as long as it doesnt have heavy weapon kills requirements... keep it matches played or won, glory rank stack, energy damage type. Make it a linear fusion or machine gun that sits in the energy class, or a new shotgun that sits in the heavy class. That would be awesome.

If anything were to change, bungie would unlock class restrictions on swords, they wouldn't make 1 sword that all classes can use. I'd rather they keep class specfic swords anyway.

3 RepliesThey could make it a lightsabre. I love swords too. I use them almost exclusively in my heavy slot on all 3 characters. The only time I don't use them is when I have a bounty that requires me to use something else. They have many flaws but for the most part they are the best weapon in the heavy slot for about 75% of this games pve content. They are totally useless in pvp though. Lol. A pinacle sword, well now they are called ritual weapons, would definatly be cool. Nothing will ever beat my strikers sure hand with surrounded and bonus impact modifier though. That thing absolutly destroys everything.

And then remove the class lock on the other two aggressive and lightweight swords. Like using swords but if they're all adaptive they're basically the same
