Basically here it goes:
Insurmountable Skullfort
Top tree arc
100 strength Stat.
Basically, if you miss, you get it back and if you hit, you get it back. In both cases, it's instantaneous.
That's a one hit kill melee titan that you can only stop if you kill the titan IMMEDIATELY after a shoulder charge before it immediately comes back.
This exists in D2 right now and is easily exploitable (along with OEM), but we can't have auto rifles that don't suck, a good warlock exotic in PvP, a nerf to well of radiance and titan barricades because "auto reload is too broken", a functional whisper of the worm, or anything else that's good?
Lol screw you, Bungie.

We’ve had infinite shoulder charge builds.. this is nothing new .

5 RepliesJust shoot him. Shoulder charge is thwarted by slowly walking backwards and shooting them.

1 ReplyEdited by an Ape with a d2 addiction: 11/26/2019 9:39:18 AMHonestly this sounds like a troll. In case it isnt and you need proper advice: There's a reason this build isn't a thing in high-end pvp. It's a 1 trick build / subclass that's simple to counter and by far better things exist in the range it's effective at. You can: - equip a shotgun. Shotties have more OHK range than shoulder charge. They win by default. Special ammo is not a problem in pvp even with 1 scavenger, let alone you can have 2 or even 3 currently if you saved your 1.0 armor - backup plan fusion can perform similarly. Sprint/jump animation cancel the draw and hip fire the ape to pixie dust - He has to run to you in a straight line. Make distance and don't rush into him and shoot while doing that. - Shoulder charges have a very distinct sound effect while they're readied while sprinting. You can literally hear them coming from behind a wall. There's no reason to get caught pants down except not being actively aware of your surroundings To fall on the shotgun counter point: Another way to look at it is that if the ape had a shotgun instead of the shoulder charge the end result would've been the same with less risk to the ape, and he'd still be free to carry any other actual sweat build. Do you want shotguns nerfed?

1 ReplyWatch your radar, keep enemy in front...shoot! So easy to take us titans down during our shoulder charge.
-
Good luck getting a shoulder charge off with all these darn shotguns and backup plan fusions. THIS is why things like OEM exist folks. Checks and balances.

1 ReplyShould have left OEM alone...
-
No, after OEM nerf, now people just want to hurt titans fun. Does not even matter if it’s OP.
-
Well of course if we miss it it comes back. We didnt use it. And that's what skullfort and strength do? The build has been in the game forever, but OEM was just too good to pass up for skullfort. I called this weeks ago that once OEM was hit, skullfort would be next because apparently they're impossible to counter when they're running headlong into the fray.
-
This has been a thing since D1 and no one cared about it, stop crying
-
Um wut? This has like been a thing since D1 basically.
-
Skullfort has always allowed infinite Shoulder Charge in Crucible.
-
If this is really an issue to you. You should simply quit the crucible
-
3 RepliesThis has been around for all of D2. This isn’t new.
-
2 Replies? If you miss, you still get it back. You can't not miss in PvP. The only way the charge goes away is of you hit and fail to kill. That being said Top tree, much more preferred to deal with that then the minute long Super that is bottom tree.

4 RepliesThis is broken yes, but there is a broken exotic for warlocks as well, the one that grants an overshield when charging up the handheld supernova (which in itself is pretty busted as well).
-
I use the finisher that gets my SC back. PvE player here.

2 Replies1. The skullfort build has existed since Launch of d2. 2. Run a shotgun or walk backwards and shoot. If you actually play mildly intelligent you'd be fine 3. Warlocks have a lot of good Exotics, I do not know what you are talking about. Contraverse holds, Ophidian aspects, Sanguine alchemy (Super underrated for team play), and transverse steps. 4. Auto reload was too strong, all raid bosses became absolute jokes with the power of Grenade launcher spam. 5. Whisper has no problems If you have a good connection.
