Hell yes... 😎👍 More time playing, less time running around the tower picking up bounties...
-
Dont grab them until you are ready. You got 24 hours, 1 week or 2 week ones. The ones at 24 hours are very easy to beat in 24 hours. The 1 week and 2 week ones take more effort but are easy to do in 1 or 2 weeks.
-
3 Replies24 hours make you rush? You ok?
-
41 RepliesOr... Hear me out... make time to play the game. the bounties are super easy to finish.

9 RepliesEdited by whateverman7: 11/26/2019 9:58:32 PMI dont understand this request/complaint. The majority of daily bounties can be done quickly, the weekly bounties give you 7 days from the time you pick up to finish, and the longer bounties (black armor black bounties (name slipping my mind)) give you 2 weeks to finish. That is plenty of time to 'play the game in our own time' as you said. What it sounds like is you just want to log on, pick up bounties, and log off. That's cool, you can do that, i even do that some time, but that doesnt mean we should be able to hold the bounties till we complete them. Also, the bounties refresh after they expire, so you can always pick up more. If they never expired, you'd be back here complaining about not being able to pick up more bounties.

1 ReplyWas originally going to laugh, then I read down a bit, thought about it, and upvoted. The bounties aren't hard to do, but placing an artificial timer on something trivial doesn't make it ok. It encourages people to stay up that extra hour when they shouldn't because they don't want there bounties they are part way done with the vanish, it crates an artificial need for the player to do something they really don't need to do right this second. And as has been stated above, Destiny 1 never had bounty timers, the incentive alone was to do a bounty you enjoyed so that if it spawned tomorrow you could do it again. that should be enough, start removing the psychological traps Bungie! Activision cant hurt you anymore!

3 RepliesHere's a different approach. When we as a community call for changes that have to do more with our personal issues, the game starts to devolve. Bungie, cater to my lifestyle. You have to meet them in the middle. Expiration timers exist now because in D1 the bounty never came back until you finished the previous copy. If you want to complete bounties then complete bounties. that's it. They expire so upon refresh, they come back. Do you know how annoying it is to do a bounty during reset then seeing the same one appear blacked out? You can't do it for the new week. That's bad.

Take the pressure away from players to complete crap so fast. Let is PLAY the game in our own time
For the love of god YES! I logged into D1 the other day and still had half completed bounties from over 6 months ago. So nice to just pick up where I left off. There is no need for any bounty to expire. We spent Glimmer on them, they are ours so stop expiring them!

7 RepliesTo the idiots saying no to the idea, how in the -blam!- does this affect or change the way you play? Jesus Christ I despise the morons that downvote a legitimate request. It's like these no life -blam!-s want people to play the game exactly like them. As in 24/7 from mom's basement pounding mountain dews and living off cheetos.
-
1 ReplyNo, this really is a non issue for 99.9% of the playerbase.
-
I think many are missing the point and maybe you are missing a more valid point. It would be much more time efficient to save up bounties and then do complementary groups of them all at once. If you have scout rifle kill, void kill and precision damage bounties from the Vanguard and scout rifle kills from the gunsmith, Put on a void scout rifle and you can do all four at once. That is a time savings, especially if you're trying to do them on three characters. But you can't save up the bounties to do this as you use to in D1.
-
47 RepliesLol seriously? This kind of complaint is why many of us can't take casual Destiny players seriously...
-
1 ReplyWhat we hear on the forum: Remove bounty timers and let us play at our own pace. What Bungie does: Bounty timer reset medallions only 200 silver from eververse
-
6 RepliesThere is no reason for expiration timers to exist on bounties.
-
Maybe some of them like the rare forge bounties. Most bounties really aren't that hard to complete, but something like the rare forge bounty that requires you to ignite the forge literally 50 times, that grind gets old real quick.
-
101 Replies24 hours! That is pressure? You feel pressure trying to get a bounty done in 24 hours when most take 5 minutes to complete? Further, if it expires, who freaking cares? What did you lose, a few glimmer?
-
2 RepliesIf you’re telling me that being given 24hrs to complete a very simple task is stressful than I don’t know what to say. I’m very busy myself so I get that life comes up. I don’t care if you’re trash at the game or not, a bounty shouldn’t take more than a few minutes of casual play maybe an hour or two if we’re talking about an Ada Rare Bounty.

Edited by Blaxsun: 11/27/2019 12:37:28 AMPlay the game on your own time and at your own pace. You don’t have to collect every single daily or weekly bounty from every single vendor every week. The vast majority yield planetary materials, which are essentially worthless going forward anyway. Cores, prisms and shards are really the only items worth consistently grinding for.
-
Nah you get plenty of time, just don’t horde!
-
2 RepliesBeen saying that for years now. I don't even care anymore.
-
11 RepliesExactly. It's their way to alienate casual players, and I'd say they're doing very well in this regard.
-
True...Not every one play video game 24/7
-
I totally agree with this, ive started numerous bounties before hitting the bed for some sleep due to working during the say only to come the next say in the afternoon to see almost all my bounties only have between 35 minutes to and hour that gets annoying after while even more so if your grinding the artifact xp to gain more light levels
-
lol this would be great but never gonna happen. at least increase the 24 hour limit on the dailies...they don't coat that much and glimmer cap is high enough this doesn't make me super annoyed anymore
