Destiny 2 : check the integrity of the game files

hello, When I run Destiny 2 on my pc, I get error message opens and tells me to check the integrity of the game files. What I did, and it’s still the same thing. I tried to delete the steam_appid file, but it doesn’t work. I just transferred my account from Battle.net, I’ve never had this problem before. Is there a solution? I don’t really want to download the game again, it’s very long... Thank you

  • Hi there, Thanks for reaching out. We are currently investigating this issue. Some players report they have fixed this issue by following these steps: 1. In the Steam Games library, right click Destiny 2 and go to Properties. 2. Click Local Files then Browse Local Files to open your Destiny 2 directory. 3. Remove all files in this folder EXCEPT "Packages." 4. Then verify the integrity of Destiny 2 game files.
