This strike is very annoying to do a 100k run on just because of the fact that CHAMPIONS spawn during the boss fight in a room that already has little space. Does this really need to be a thing?

7 RepliesWE. NEED. MORE. COVER. This modified strike reminds me of the Shield Brothers strike in Destiny 1. The ending battle with no cover was horrific. Absolutely terrible in my opinion to have a layout where we cannot recover properly and enemies just spam splash damage all day. That isn’t fun to me. But, I guess, everyone is different...

13 RepliesMost annoying D2 strikes Exodus Crash: go Collect about 20 Arc Light in Patrol b4 you Procced to Fight the Invisible boss who Runs away after 2 Seconds of DpS Hallowed Lair: same as Exodus Crash, you so much as Breath on the Boss & he inmediately goes immune, Don't waste your supers The Corrupted: Run this strike Twice, once in this Reality & a second time in the Taken dimension, then mindlessly chase the Boss for a few miles & somehow Save her by literally Spraying her face with Bullets & Rockets Skarlet Keep: Basically Omnigul on Steroids, plus more slow motion elevator fights than the Arms dealer strike
-
1 ReplyIt’s funny that it’s already back in rotation
-
1 ReplyIt's difficult all around this week. The damn elevators kill too much time.
-
Sooo you don't want a challenge? These champions are stupidly easy to deal with. You are meant to know the spawns if you want to be the best, learn the activity and you'll clap them all
-
Edited by TheWanderer17: 11/25/2019 5:04:00 PMI just wish I could get that door open at the bottom of the elevator. Jumping off the elevator spawns 3 wizards and a shrieker. I find it fun to fight 'em. But alas that door stays closed. Dang shame. Would love a chance to lead to a secret adventure or alternative strike ending. Would add more variety as well. Make an additional challenge mode within the nightfall.

25 RepliesHey Bungie.. I have some ideas 1. Double the amount of enemies in this nightfall 2. Set the timer to 10 minutes 3. Increase the enemie beam damage and double it, if your hiding 4. Guardians can only use one hand and one leg I've ran this many times this week never getting 100K ,completing yes but always screwed by timer in getting 100k. If your going to have a long strike like this eliminate the timer. Here again lets make the game for the big name youtubers and not the average joe. Just remember it's the average joes that put food on your tables bungie.

Are you really crying about this of all things
-
4 RepliesMy favorite part is when you die then respawn in the line of enemy fire. Yeah, that's the good stuff!
-
Only issue with this NF is the Loot - there is none. the Rest, Its refreshing.
-
2 RepliesEdited by SpartanLegend_27: 11/26/2019 2:11:50 AMThe real insult is that this NF doesn't even have unique loot. Neither does the other new strike, I think. 2 new strikes and Bungie doesn't even bother to give us a ghost shell for either of em.
-
Thank Bungie's unending push to make things harder because a small group keep whining things are too easy. They really have forgotten that most people play games to have fun. Two unstoppable ogres in the tiny area that you can fall off of and also have crazy boomer knights and the boss with arc burn multipliers made for a really annoying boss fight. I ran it once for the ship, but if I'm running 980's for loot, it sure wouldn't be this week's NF.
-
The 980 is a pain
-
I'd say it's more annoying due to the length of the strike and you cant 1 phase the boss
-
It’s not that bad with one unstoppable hand cannon or leviathan.
-
just kill the champions what the hell?
-
6 RepliesStrikes in d2 just are not as fun as d1..... I think it’s the length and the boss phases idk... in d1 if I was bored I would run strikes now I avoid them.
-
This nightfall is not difficult with a team that ACTUALLY knows what to do. I tried doing it earlier this week with a lfg group of 2 people that would literally sit in the back of each room to shoot adds without getting in harms way. If you play like that, you aren't going to hit 100k. Once I got with teams that would do the strike and contribute to kills, it was relatively easy. Just move quickly and communicate. You don't need to insta-kill anything, just play smart.
-
If your team cannot insta kill the yellow ogres don’t even bother attempting this on 950 or higher. You need to aim, wait for gun to turn red, hit in face. Then Your teammates destroy with Izanagi. 2-3 secs maximum lifespan. What you’re carrying a scrub with no mods or decent weapons? Sucks. You’re not getting this NF done within the time requirement.
-
It wouldn’t be so bad if the strike had a unique drop! So dumb that it doesn’t
-
1 ReplyDo the 980 NF. You can get 130k + quite easily with a good team.
-
Lol git gud
-
A hunter with Celestial Nighthawk takes 3/4 of health from the boss. That was key to beating it. Get over 100k and then pop a titan bubble and almost one shot the boss with a hunter.
-
4 RepliesWith no incentive to boot
-
2 RepliesFor some reason, our fireteam wasn't scoring during the boss encounter at all so we hit 100K but it kept trickling down so we finished at 98K
-
4 RepliesEdited by Corrick II: 11/25/2019 5:11:47 PMI hate this Nightfall. The problem for me when I ran it is our team got to 100k but we just couldn’t finish it. Those Ogres are absolutely OP AF. Granted we probably could’ve been running better loadouts but oh my God if you don’t equip exactly the right thing or move to exactly the right places at exactly the right times, you’re completely effed. It’s just not fun AT ALL. This has been one of my biggest gripes with Bungie’s design philosophy. They design one solution to a puzzle and plug it in and if you don’t do that, you’re SOL. I want to be able to apply different strategies in high level activities but there’s just no room for improvisation.
