An arguably better raid, more exotic weapons, a new social space, more immersive quests: all from a DLC that was produced as a side note to keep players occupied in the remaining days of D1.
Time to phone up Activision, ya'll.
Edit 1: I take it back. Wrath of the Machine just might be better... Week 5 and we still have one of the most broken raids of all time. The Iron Giant Sanctified Mind blasting off to catch the Little Einsteins with his side facing you, motes falling off the map, Minotaurs teleporting into walls chasing after Harry Potter and the Philosipher's Stone, horrendous frame drops on console, tether mechanics just refusing to work, 3rd encounter Minotaurs not spawning in on challenge encounters... It's absolutely shameful.

1 ReplyYou can blame epic games for the microtransaction bs. Nobody was doing this shit until fortnite dropped. Dont get me wrong, I absolutely love the rank up and rewards from each rank, but making separate items in game that can only be acquired by spending real cash is stupid. In D1 bungie focused directly on content, D1 was so good of a game that i couldnt wait to get off work and play, couldnt wait until reset each week, the music would give me goosebumps just listening to it. As far as D2 tho? Its all a money grab now, and if bungie doesnt start focusing on whats important, they will lose even more players.
