In my personal opinion, Getaway Artist's little Arc Buddy is a bit... underwhelming at the moment, one of the things I noticed while playing was that it didn't interact with the top tree stormcaller ability Arc Web, and so I looked at the fine print and it specifically mentioned 'grenade damage'. In curiosity, I then checked if it counted as a grenade, and surprisingly, it does. It activates the reload for Demolitionist weapons, it activates Armament mods (very reliably might I add), Ashes to Assets activates off Arc Buddy kills and Grenadier improves the damage of it. In every aspect of it, it [b]is[/b] a grenade except in regards of triggering Arc Web. This could be an oversight, bug, etc, but there's no reason it shouldn't activate Arc Web. Not only do you consume your grenade to get it, BUT you also give up your exotic armor, which has no rationale as to why it doesn't interact with the subclass ability. Hell, it does interact with bottom tree's subclass abilities with the rift and Arc Buddy duration will last as long as the rift is there providing the subclass based Arc Buddy who is weaker, but Getaway's Arc Buddy overrides that if you activate it first. This is just a little QoL thing that honestly wouldn't be that broken, the trade off to getting a little autoturret that [i]can[/i] wipe teams is your grenade and Exotic armor piece. This wouldn't break pvp, but even if it did, Warlocks would get a much needed display in pvp in this meta of Hunters and Titans dominating. We suffered through Wormhusk and One-Eyed, so what if Warlocks have an exotic that swings fights? Just a little food for thought, from a guy who wants his Arc Buddy to be the best he can. <3
