I guarantee Google Stadia is what's causing the server issues. Google's systems are constantly scanning game files for personal data.
Whatcha wanna bet Google tripped security protocols in Bungie's servers?
For the "right fighters" out there, this was merely a theory concocted in the absence of information. Nothing more, nothing less.

64 RepliesNah, it had nothing to do with Stadia. It was in issue in our data center that affected all platforms. Our engineers worked hard all day yesterday to restore service. Sorry about any inconvenience while we worked on the fix.

Nope, that’s Bungie you are thinking of there.
-
Won’t matter. Stadia will be gone the way of Google glass. One of the worst launches to date.

Bungie and streamers killed D2

In the same 36 hour window Netflix, Microsoft, and most ISP's in the Pacific Northwest experienced significant service interruptions. I doubt the issue was Stadia, or even of Bungie's making.

AMD hardware is chosen for Stadia and it is competitor to Xcloud. When you have NVidia, Intel, Microsoft on the other side, a hate campaign does not surprise me at all. And when I say these I am not putting Google and AMD at an ethically higher position. They would all be fine with people getting slaughtered like sheeps if the proft is good enough. If you really want to hate things, can you at least hate the right thing? Hate the system.

Notice the bungie quick response

Oh look another opinionated reddit user who should have tried to search on google instead of listening to drop out beggars with identity issues.

1 ReplyDid you mean to say “Google Stadia killed itself?” Because that would not be surprising from its launch.

Edited by Aqua: 11/24/2019 2:37:01 AMhaha to the losers that bought Stadia https://twitter.com/u11jirenthegray/status/945196886796972032?lang=en

Arrogant blue hair air brains wearing pyjamas during live streams tells you all you need to know

Edited by Immoral: 11/23/2019 6:57:22 AMI doubt the 5 people who paid for Stadia made an impact on D2's servers. My connection has been wonky since Shadowkeep and New Light released. I didn't have this issue when I got D2 for free from last year's Blizzcon.

1 ReplyOne Stadia to rule them all, One Stadia to find them, One Stadia to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them, Stadia, Nephew of Oryx
Whatcha wanna bet Google tripped security protocols in Bungie's servers?
I'm not dumb enough to take that bet lol!

13 RepliesPlayed Destiny on my phone while at work. Played Destiny at home while on the pot using my tablet. Played Destiny before dinner on my PC. Played destiny on my 4k TV all night. All for one price. You may be jealous. I may have done this or just know that I could (but you are probably still jealous.)

3 RepliesSee, destiny has replied and it wasn't Stadia
Now ask for the family brain cell back, clearly lending it out does u no good
Yeah Destiny servers never had an issue before Stadia. 🙄
