Strikes don’t feel fun anymore all of them just feel the same, there’s a boss that uses ranged attacks and you have to take him down while killing all the adds, strikes have become so unoriginal that I try to actively avoid them. Back in destiny 1 you had strikes like the bond brother, sunless cell and the updated sepiks strike which were the best strikes in my opinion because of how unique they were. Bond brothers have two cabal brothers one attacks you by slamming into you with his large blade attached to his arm while the other shoots at you from a distance with a massive cannon attached to their back. Sunless cell, it’s close to pitch black you’re in a small room and suddenly this massive knight appears out of nowhere running at you with their massive battle axe, this is by far my favourite strike just because of how well everything goes together the small room, it being pitch black and a knight who can only use melee. Strikes were a massive part of destiny 1 but now with destiny 2 it’s clear that strikes have just gotten worse from destiny 1 to 2. The only strike I like in destiny 2 is the one with the warden but the problem with that boss is that is just has barely any health at all and to show everyone how great the boss is I would recommend you times the bosses health by 3 atleast. I know that you guys work your arses off with these dlc but you need to put more effort into strikes as when the earlier activities get removed like you said they would strikes will still be around.
