Since I've read a crap ton of people complaining about this issue and no real answer or fix to this thing.
Someone please explain to me how this happens and how to fix this.
I tried all sorts of stuff that people recommended, and nothing even helped remotely.
after all that was left, I tried reinstalling the game, wich to my conclusion here, did not even help.
Keep in mind, this screenshot is from me, Just standing in the EDZ... JUST STANDING THERE.
People say "Desinty 2 is a cpu intensive game" well to be fair that can be true, So is WoW and I can run it just fine with youtube & discord and stream in the background. but needing an i7 cpu just for destiny 2 is absurd.
So I tried fixing it with these things:
- Reinstall the game (Both on SSD & HDD wich didn't make a difference)
- Close apps in the background that could lead to increased CPU workload.
- Update both Cpu drivers and Gpu Drivers.
- Change in game settings, the only thing that seemed to help a little bit is the downscale to 80fps wich is stupid cus I have a 144Hz monitor and I'm forced to play lower because of this unoptimized game.
So let me just tell you, 90% of the community uses discord for raids / nightfalls etc.
I can't use discord since it lags the crap out because my Cpu is at 100% constantly wich is ripping the audio on discord.
I can't notice a difference in game so no fps drops or lag at all.
Its just everything in the background that lags out, Youtube, Discord heck even discord on the web browser is lagging out.
And before you ask,
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU: i5 6600K @ 3.50GHz not OC
Ram: 16Gb @ 1067MHz
GPU: GTX 1070.
I would love some insight from the people at bungie themselves.
but anything helps ofcourse.

3 RepliesThis game use maxium GPU power. and lower on cpu usage -_- . and Its not support Hyper thread . so of you have HT on at bios. go disable it. Its use my 10 core cpu never higher than 50 % percentage on heavy load. but its use both of my VGA and maximu usage. same as my BF use it for his work . I can hear a fan noise so loud on it. but about cpu usage when I take a look at task bar manager. its very low -_- cheer

4 RepliesDo you have hardware acceleration enabled for Chrome and/or Discord? If yes, see if disabling it makes a difference. Generally, you'd want to offload the acceleration to your GPU for example, however, in cases of instability etc, disabling it may help.
