How do I get rice cakes?
I’ve been farming for hours and haven’t gotten one do I have to finish the story?

It has a fairly high chance to drop in Patrol Area Chests. You do not have to finish the story first, a friend of mine got one on release day of Shadowkeep and we didnt finish the story yet.
