(Edit: oh hey, look what I found)
People won't care about the story implications when the content is bad.
Undying Mind, as people are saying is literally a boss switch from the original.
This is what's wrong with Bungie's new take.
They have fewer studios, so their output is less.
They choose to output the same amount of content, with less man-power
This leads to lesser quality content.
The choice to then delete it 3 months later provides less motivation to even make it better.
People are spending money on this. They are far less likely to continue when disappointed.
Consequently, people are going stop paying for seasons when Bungie has 0 motive and less ability to make good content since they're "deleteing" 90% of it in the next season.
I should clarify that it is far more likely that Vex Offensive will just be deactivated like every other event and remain in the game files for eternity.
We're paying for this...
A shallow Vex EP, with a disappointing upgrade, slated to be taken away in 21 days
An underwhelming quest exotic 100% based in Y1 (free) content (and Gambit should you choose)
Another quest exotic that straight-up sucks
And a FOMO Battle Pass.
And Tess getting all the new stuff, nothing for any of the vendors
What a season...
If you don't see it now, wait until you're basically done with Shadowkeep's content. This model will not sustain a positive outlook.
Bungie has chosen quantity over quality, which is bad.
If they really were making something they wanted to play, they'd be doing a lot more right things than wrong. I mean that as in why would they make something that likely would irritate them to deal with as well. Who at Bungie actually enjoys armor affinity at home?
I don't wanna attack Luke Smith, but I'm at a point where he is basically becoming the face of the FOMO that will drag this game to the ground. His "evolving world" is our tomb. It's not the one the game deserves.

undying bruh moment
-
Yep. Evolving world which means removing content. Not a good way to keep IRL friends interested at all. In fact, it just keeps getting harder and harder to keep IRL friends and family interested in Destiny as a whole right now with more games releasing. ..and then we have to pay for these “seasonal” activities that go away. It’s really a bummer. ..Also, some Eververse items do not rotate and the bright dust nerf was a bit harsh for my taste. I honestly get so tired of heading back to the tower to get more bounties because of the loading. A massive disappointment for the season.

6 RepliesEvolve your spending habits and stop buying silver.
-
By "evolving world" bungie meant tons of new outfits to purchase.
-
4 RepliesNot to mention, the main seasonal activity for undying only had a powerful reward attached to it for two weeks. Apparently this is a bug, but hasn't been fixed which kinda shows how little they care about it. I was really hoping for at least a mini quest or an interesting arena, but no its just a big hydra instead of a minotaur.
-
Come on, let's just get the facts straight here.. no matter what, people will still be buying into new "seasons" of.. this.. that's what is truly sad about this.
-
Bungo the clown strikes again. Writings been on the wall for years they are terrible at managing this game.
-
There is no evolving world in this game and never will be, if it was evolving then we wouldn’t be running the same activities over and over for 6yrs
-
Evolving world with no changes to the actual world, the vison.
-
3 RepliesThey should just straight up tell us what they are working on right now or what they are thinking of doing instead of building up Curse of Osiris 2.0.
-
7 RepliesI keep thinking back to Luke Smith and his "You'll throw money at the screen" comments in Destiny. Looks like he never gave up on that ambition as its the only way to really get anything worth having in the game these days. Luke Smith shouldn't be in charge of a remote control let alone a game with as much potential as this franchise. Its criminal how they are throwing it away.

6 RepliesOh man, I bet Bungie is like “quick roll out the imago loop!” But instead they roll out that ugly ass Titan mark that always dropped instead of Imago
-
6 RepliesVote with your wallets, people. Dumbgie will start listening when their revenue begins to dwindle.
-
The evolving world, to me anyway, seems like a cop out to just reskin the world without giving actual new destinations
-
1 ReplyOmfg actual feedback!!! .... I would have given you silver if you didn't include the joker video
-
2 RepliesI really had hopes that the portal at Ikora would have given us the D1 undying mind strike and possibility of imago loop.. sadly.. nope.. nothing like that
-
12 RepliesThey also built a portal in the tower that we don't use. Still have to go to moon map to start vex offensive. So why waste resources building that non functional portal in the first place?
-
I just want them to remove the "battle pass." I understand it's a reward for people who play all the time, but the majority of the community isn't playing enough to earn 100 tiers. I've been playing for maybe 12-14 hours every week and I'm still only tier 45.
-
6 RepliesFOMO, you would have missed out on a bow, an easy to get title, and 4 weapons if I'm looking at everything right? Oh and the magical friendships you formed along the way!!! I've been in comp so long this season all I'll remember is sweaty neckbeard balls on my dead corpse. 277 Luna kills and I'm done, sorry to who gets matched with me and I'm not playing super sweaty just for Luna kills. I don't play stupid, but I don't play like every match is a must win.

1 ReplyI see my favorite toxic content creator is busy at work. As usual.
-
2 RepliesEdited by DaSeven: 11/21/2019 10:43:53 AMAnd yet people will talk, complain, and even say they won't spend any more money on the game when in reality they do the opposite, how can things even change like this?
-
4 RepliesI think the funniest thing about this whole thing is that the Portal in the Tower doesn't even look finished. It was supposed to get more complete as players got more Vex components. But so many people stopped get components that Bungie launched the Final Assault with the Portal being unfinished.

1 ReplyThis game will continue to suffer, it will survive, but will eventually fizzle out and Bungie’s rep with it. It’s not fun anymore, Bungie lies, they nerf items that took a long time to get in the name of balancing? Kiss my ash, you should know your game by now, balance... lmao... we know what you’re doing and it’s not balancing.
-
2 RepliesPersonally, I want Bungie to finish this round of seasons out, and then just stop for 2 or 3 years. Come back when you have a massive game to release you can call Destiny 3 (or whatever), and then release maybe 1 or 2 Forsaken size DLCs after that.
