Just so you are aware we have seen every pleading headline imaginable let me enlighten you with a few of my favourite recent ones. “Wrongfully banned. Please fix Bungie” Ban was upheld by BNGSecurity. “Sealed my account for no reason” Ban was upheld by BNGSecurity. “Banned for absolutely no reason” Ban was upheld by BNGSecurity. I could list so many. So, if you want to pursue your claim of innocence then you may end up with a very red face. Doing something once / 1 time does not lead to a restriction or ban unless you are using code injecting software or cheating in some way. Connection based restrictions or bans you are given a warning about your connection first before any restriction or ban is places. Bungie investigates accounts before they hand out any restrictions or bans. After investigating your account, they found a reason. They will not remove this restriction/ban. On the occasions they do respond, the answer will give a date and a very brief reason which will be one of the following below. 1. Cheating 2. Any software being detected by Destiny while it's running. These could include Trainers, Aimbots, Auto-fire, Mods, Graphics Hacks, anything that injects code into games. 3. An unstable connection is having an impact on other players. Typically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, auto-fire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, [b]even if not destiny 2 specific[/b] [b]Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Once an account is banned however, that ban is permanent. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason.
