I am having issues trying to set up cross play between Xbox One and Steam. First off, I have linked both my Microsoft account and my Steam account to my Bungie.net profile, so that isn't the issue. To begin, I log into bungie.net using my Xbox/Microsoft account. When I go to the cross save link, I agree to the licence agreement, and it takes me to the screen where I authenticate my cross save accounts. Again, I log into bungie.net using my Microsoft account. Both my Microsoft account and my Steam account are listed on the screen. I can see my Xbox gamertag and characters, as well as my steam account and characters. While I am signed in to my Microsoft account, the screen says it is authenticated. The steam account however is not authenticated. What I do from there is click on the "authenticate" button, and I continue to sign in with my steam account. When the sign in process is complete, I am returned to the authentication page where nothing has changed and my Steam account is still not authenticated. I have tried to sign in multiple times from that screen and every time it says I have signed in, yet the account is not authenticated. I have tried clearing my cookies and cache and that did not work. I have tried using Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers and neither work. I tried logging out of all accounts and re-logging in and that does not work. I have used both standard and incognito windows for both browsers and neither works. Some additional notes: *When I sign in to Bungie.net using my steam account, my steam account authenticates and my Microsoft account will not authenticate. *My steam account is currently a limited user account because I just created it a few days ago. I have not found anything on the forums or Bungie PC guides that suggests this is the problem. Bungie only mentions in the guide that new Steam accounts will be limited user accounts, but clarifies nothing about whether cross-save is possible. *I do not receive an error code whenever this happens. All I do is sign in with my steam account, the little loading icon appears over my steam account, and it tells me to authenticate again. This has not changed over several times trying. How can I authenticate both of my accounts? Is there anything I missed or need to do in the process?
