Hello out there,
i got banned tonight for obviously no reason to do so. I'm an honest person and I never used any cheats or whatever for Destiny. I play Destiny since the beta of Destiny 1 and honestly it's my favorite game and it would be a shame if i can't continue to use my account in which i put so much time. I'm that kind of person who freaks out if someone is using cheats or something else to manipulate things. So why got I banned? Is there anything else I can do now or can I just sit here and pray that Bungie is looking into this and unban my account soon? I'm using Kovaaks FPS Trainer and had it running in the background to match my sens right but this are two different "games" and should not do anything right? And a couple minutes later i got a weasel error code and got banned. Hopefully it will be fixed soon or someone at Bungie is telling me more about this ban.

10 RepliesYes trainers can get you banned. Bungie has already said that any cheat for ANY game will result in action against your account.

Edited by Ingwe-Queen: 11/18/2019 9:35:46 AMDoing something once / 1 time does not lead to a restriction or ban unless you are using code injecting software or cheating in some way. Connection based restrictions or bans you are given a warning about your connection first before any restriction or ban is places. Bungie investigates accounts before they hand out any restrictions or bans. After investigating your account, they found a reason. They will not remove this restriction/ban. On the occasions they do respond, the answer will give a date and a very brief reason which will be one of the following below. 1. Cheating 2. Any software being detected by Destiny while it's running. These could include Trainers, Aimbots, Auto-fire, Mods, Graphics Hacks, anything that injects code into games. 3. An unstable connection is having an impact on other players. Time played. Content purchased. Gear earned. When you started. Intent. Threats. Begging. It is all irrelevant. They make the rules. We have to follow them. Break them and they penalize you. There is NO course of action to appeal any punishment issued. They WILL NOT lessen or remove any punishment issued for any reason. They've had this no tolerance policy since Day 1 of D1. It won't change anytime soon. For most PC tagalongs: They are banned because SOMETHING installed on your PC (ACTIVE cheats for D2 or other games can trigger this) was viewed as a POTENTIAL threat to D2 and those are PROMPTLY BANNED. The process for BANS and RESTRICTIONS involve reports coming in from players or their flag system towards an individual. The Bungie monkey at HQ reviews it. And they decide if it was warranted or not. Intentionally or not your account broke the rules. Ignorance of the rules doesn't exempt you from them. Your account is done. There is literally nothing you can do about it. So your only two options are to buy the content again or move on. If you pray hard enough maybe just maybe the monkey that runs the BNGSecurity account will care enough to give you an extremely vague reason as to why a punishment was issued. The chances of that happening are slim to none. Here's some examples of other kids who "did nothing wrong" that the BNGSecurity account replied to. http://imgur.com/a/jBV3uqq Pick your poison and live with it.
