update: tried even setting DMZ. did not help either. at this point i've tried running the starting mission over 20 times. But still get CABBAGE (and one time BEE) when getting to "Find the jumpship". Isn't there a faster way to test this than running the mission over and over and over?!

If your ISP has v4 public addresses available, can actually turn IPv6 off in the router... have seen dual-stack environments do weird things with some games. You can check your public IP at myip.ms The "easy" way to set ports is through UPnP, but some prefer to manually set the forwards themselves. For that, you need to be in the WAN section, Virtual Server/Port Forwarding tab. This link might take you directly to it once logged into the router (have an older router, but the GUI's tend to be similar layouts): http://router.asus.com/Advanced_VirtualServer_Content.asp Oh yeah... you can see what ports are getting forwarded in the System Log page. There should be a Port Forwarding tab. Again, can try this link once logged into the router: http://router.asus.com/Main_IPTStatus_Content.asp
