Feeding Frenzy has the exact same increase in reload speed as Outlaw, a perk that requires a precision kill, while Feeding Frenzy does not, making it a far more reliable and superior perk to use for all weapon types that can role it.
Basically if you reduce Feeding Frenzy down to 33% increase in reload speed, rather then the current 50% like Outlaw has, it would balance out the reload perks. Heck Rapid Hit has less percentage then both of these perks, yet that one takes even more skill to activate, and it's not even worth going past rapid hit x2, since the speed increase from x2 to x3, x4, x5 is very small. x3, x4, and x5 actually need a buff so that x5 causes at least a 66% reload speed increase.
Feeding Frenzy is what makes Master of Arms so powerful, not the actual perk itself.
This nerf would also effect other weapons that kind of rely on this perk to be really good, like machine guns especially. But sadly when you put this perk on an SMG or even an Auto Rifle, it makes it way to powerful. Maybe just replace the Feeding Frenzy with something else, which would cause Master of Arms to be nerfed way more then what you are already doing to it. Heck you wouldn't need to change that perk at all if you swapped out Feeding Frenzy for a more balanced perk that did not make this weapon so powerful.
So yeah, Recluse would be more balanced that way. Thanks.

how bout stop being a complaining noob and just have fun with the game, hmm? :/

3 RepliesWhy not both? Decrease Master of Arm's damage boost potential and get rid of Feeding Frenzy.

10 RepliesLol a reload perk, -blam!-ing really?

Feeding Frenzy is not as fast as Outlaw by default I believe. Anyway, people already complain about Hunters in PvP so our Marksman dodge would just send people into a temper tantrum, and since you don't need a kill with The Recluse to proc MoA, a Dust Rock Blues is a nice way to proc it and have a full clip of precision damage pretty quickly. Bungie made the right nerf.

Lol, that must be why Calus Mini Tool sees so much use

2 RepliesFeeding frenzy is not the issue with recluse. Never will be either.

1 ReplyHot take on recluse: Master of Arms should reduce headshot damage but increase body shot damage. Then they should lower the overall damage a smidge so it doesn't out-perform most SMGs headshots and just turn it into a dummy trash-mowing gun for crowds.
-
2 RepliesWhat? Feeding frenzy isn't as fast a reload as outlaw, and a fast reload isn't the problem.
-
well yes is the perk, spray random and kill is a problem

I had a same idea. bump
