I was happy to see that I might FINALLY get a gods damned title until it was pointed out to me that I need to finish the stupid collections crap, does that ALSO meanI need to play the other classes too for all their crap? I grinded the hell out of those triumphs for nothing then, garbage as hell.

3 RepliesTitles are like the pinnacle achievements for seasons and game modes. You're not meant to get them without doing all/most activities associated with it. If you think that title is a grind, you probably should avoid aiming for the earlier ones. I have Wayfarer, Cursebreaker, Chronicler and MMXIX. You wouldnt believe the grind for all those. Chronicler requirements makes most other pve titles look like a weekend project :)

3 RepliesI think you may be having a stroke. Seek medical help immediately. Ps You don’t need to collect the gear to every character, just one. Been like this since titles began.

Edited by Spicy HOT Sploog: 11/17/2019 6:12:15 AMYou do realize to complete a badge you only have to complete it on one character right?
-
15 RepliesI don’t care so much about it, but I am loathing how the u dying title requires the master nightfall completion to get the ship for the collection, AND you can’t complete it after the season is over, especially considering how everything else is earned for that title through a simple grind. I’ve done/will have everything done for that title except that ship and killing the boss from the final assault by reset next week, but I’m not sure I’ll get through that master nightfall by the end of the season. Oh well I guess. Wish me luck!

Edited by Sweet Lew 88: 11/17/2019 4:04:44 AMYeah, its more for hobbiest players. They want you to put thousands of hours in. Remember when you told me that i didnt understand English?

2 RepliesTitles are for the hard core, something to show off to show how much work you put in. Maybe it's too hard core for you? Bungie has stated that they are leaning towards the hobby type player than the casual type player. Maybe go for some cool emblems instead?

1 ReplyThe only reason I played gambit this week was the fact I got the ship and sparrow recently. If I didn’t have either of those drop I would still be where I was the season Dredgen was available(had all but the cosmetics that season) and it was hell having to reset two times. Never going back again. But I do feel a sense of accomplishment. Now if I could solo the eggs in the last wish raid I could also get that title but it’s not possible from what I’ve read.

Edited by Cinderchar: 11/17/2019 2:14:05 AMIf it makes you feel any better all I needed for Wayfarer was the rocket launcher and I got it on my second run ever of that NF when it came up in the Ordeal. I also got the Dreaming City ship on my first and only Shattered Throne run. 99% of the time this game is just a feels bad. It’s been that way for 5 years and it won’t ever change.

2 RepliesI stopped caring after needing 2 more things for wayfarer. The same two things that have not ever dropped once for me. Ever. I have bad RNG luck though, so it’s to be expected. Basically the titles are a bunch of stuff that everyone can do, and by “everyone can do” I don’t mean that it’s so easy that everyone can just go do it real quick, I mean that everyone can develop the skill, put in the time, and get the triumph after working enough for it. Then there are a few RNG things that decide whether or not you get to put the little title on your character.
-
lul. No you don't have to get everything on all your characters. Only one of them needs all the armor for example. You do have to get all the cosmetics from the bounties and the "ritual" weapons which can be a pretty big drag. However they are easily the simplest ones to get yet.

You only need to collect everything for one class to unlock the triumph, but it's pretty annoying nonetheless. At least most of the Undying stuff isn't RNG unlike some collection titles.
-
A title should encompass everything, including collecting gear. They aren't meant to be easy and not everyone is meant to get them.
-
You complete a collection when you complete it on one class not each class. It’s really not that bad, titles should be about accomplishment.
-
You know that you can fill out badge with one character and you will get triumph, right ?
-
These are very intensive quests created by Bungie. To complete them you get so many kills with certain weapons and collect so many items to get the title. Best kinda quests ever made.
-
5 RepliesWhat title are you going for? I'm not sure any of the new ones have rng for the collections; they all seem triumph based or quest related!
-
1 ReplyYou only need to complete the collection badge for one character
-
Doesn't require other classes.
-
Its pretty dumb I agree. But you only need to grind out 1 class.
