3 RepliesYou're not VAC Banned, but Game Banned. Strictly different. VAC Ban can happen only with games supporting VAC. Game ban can happen to any game telling Steam you was using a cheat, or tools to make cheat. As Destiny 2 have it's own anti-cheat, they don't rely on VAC.

1 ReplyMaybe you should go read what can cause a vac ban. It’s not just cheating

Nice job. They don't care. Loyalty. Time played. Content purchased. Gear earned. When you started. Intent. Threats. Begging. It is all irrelevant. They make the rules. We have to follow them. Break them and they penalize you. There is NO course of action to appeal any punishment issued. They WILL NOT lessen or remove any punishment issued for any reason. They've had this no tolerance policy since Day 1 of D1. It won't change anytime soon. Intentionally or not your account broke the rules. Ignorance of the rules doesn't exempt you from them. Your account is done. There is literally nothing you can do about it. So your only two options are to buy the content again or move on. If you pray hard enough maybe just maybe the monkey that runs the BNGSecurity account will care enough to give you an extremely vague reason as to why a punishment was issued. The chances of that happening are slim to none. Here's some examples of other kids who "did nothing wrong" that the BNGSecurity account replied to. http://imgur.com/a/jBV3uqq Pick your poison and live with it Go complain to steam about the VAC ban.

7 RepliesReads post ... realizes you were banned not from the game but from a platform ... JUST WOW MAN, you know what you did.

lol why? it should be pretty obvious. steam's anti-cheat is no where near as rigorous as bungie and to get a ban from them....wow.

1 ReplyTypically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, auto-fire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Once an account is banned however, that ban is permanent. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason. There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. Bans are lifetime for that account https://twitter.com/Bungie/status/1179836392953675776 <- Most recent info bans and restrictions policy page *I am not a Bungie representative, just a player trying to give the answers that are available.
