You must buy the event helmet from Eva Levente and equip it onto your character. If you aren’t wearing it, you cannot enter the Haunted Forest.

You’re looking at the wrong masks (which are actually just ornaments). Next inventory line down. Only takes Glimmer to buy the first mask.
