Crucible teleporting cheaters with overshield
This is seriously getting out of hand more and more teleporting cheaters I see in crucible. Bannign them one by one is only a small work. Bungie need to fix the exploit. Any news about this issue from bungie?

I mean I meet 1-2 such players in a few matches while most was well playable. But yesterday it was up to 6 in a single match. Like a bad pandemic disease.

1 ReplyI know this is a big issue on pc but I even ran into a guy doing this on PS4 about 3 weeks ago. I have no clue how he was doing it on ps4 cuz I thought you couldn't do that shit on consoles. It was 6v6 control and as soon as the match started he was at our capture zone punching us all to death with an overshield and it was almost impossible to kill him. I haven't seen it happen again since then so I'm hoping he got banned for life.

Never see them on console (the worst we have here are ddosers), but I still hate to hear it. Don’t dare try and expose them cause bungie doesn’t like that. On the off chance they get banned, they will just make a new account.

6 Repliesjust report everything and any suspicous players ...definatly .....i do it .. and belive me, i track the reported players and some of them just disapeard.....there are a lot of cheaters out there.. from teleporting, to invicible without exo and buffs.. aim hackers. bits and so on... when i play IB .. and see there is someone already having 40 kills in the first 2 mins of the match.. bam report...make it bungies problem, they have to check them... if i see someone constantly giving headshots with sniper, while he jumps, i jump, and he shots me and 1 other ... report .... i report every -blam!-ing shit, that is not normal. and i dont care !!! if they cheat bungie catch them...as u already can see in the help sektion

Theres no way to fix the exploit unless you auto detect the app they use, they did that launch and people got banned for harmless apps that had overlays. Bungie’s biggest mistake is giving all new light players full access to the game immediately without needing to sink hours into it. CS:GO has the same issue outside of prime matches since the game is F2P

Played against a guy 3 times today. Each time someone in my team was kicked to orbit. Calle him out in it...”what you mean bro, maybe you should git Gud”. Lmao. Sent the gameplay to bungie AND Xbox live. Enjoy the swift banhammer.

I've been seeing this more and more in comp on PC. I got to 5k solo then started running into people clearly cheating! It goes like this... Both teams spawn in. and some dipshit from the other team is literally on top of you before you can even move! Proceeds to kill the whole team. Respawn and repeat.... BLATANT cheating. NOT lag. not Lag switching. clearly a cheating tool... This NEEDS to be fixed ASAP! And while I'm at the soap box can I just mention about the "steam shitty servers" I've been kicked to orbit now so many times due to "Server maintenance" It's becoming a joke... No warning, nothing... Then I get a temp ban due to it being the first game of the day... No it's not my connection, I have a 400mb/s line... Can we at least get a 10 minute warning?? I'll know not to load up a comp game until maintenance is done.

Well and they need to step their banning up a notch and ban IP's rather than just accounts. Some get's account banned and they just make a new one and keep going. They ban IP's the person has to literally get a new computer, or internet depending on which they chose to ban. Either that or run some third party VPN which is against policy as well so it would end the sake way.

I almost never have this experience. I only play during the prime time. Never play after 8pm PST...lol Except Saturday. I got some weirdness on Thursday night around 8:30pm. I died with no reason. I just stop playing and watching smithsonian channel after that..much better 🤪
