Edit—— THANK YOU BUNGIE!!!! 😊👍🏻😎😁😊👍🏻
Bungie, I earnestly ask that you please remove the screen shakiness induced from firing the Hardlight. This seems to only be an issue on console from what I have seen (edit: proven false, thanks guardians. It’s on PC also)
I absolutely LOVE Hardlight, how it looks and sounds and the versatility... but it just hurts my eyes and my head to fire the thing with the screen bouncing around so much.. please, I ask with everything I have in me, make Hardlight shoot like other guns and remove the shakiness. I want to use the gun, but I don’t want to get sick doing so.
Thank you,
Bretin23

Edit: I’m glad this is making some traction.
Bungie employee, if you are reading this, please don’t leave. Give some thought into this and consider removing the shakiness. I think the majority of people would take a trade-off of damage falloff or stability in order to remove the screenshake. If you could reply here or just message me - I have a lot of experience and feedback to give on this weapon and how I think it could be improved (without making it too O.P.).
Fixed the title now, it’s NOT just console as my fellow guardians pointed out. Thanks guys!

Thank you Bungie!!!!😊
-
They didn't when you asked in d1 non-stop, they won't now.
-
Agreed, buff Hard Light's impact/damage, remove the screen shake, give it damage drop off like other ARs if needs be and alter the button that changes the element or make it so we can sticky it at least. Hard Light is my absolute favourite AR even with all the issues it has, since D1. Just give it some love Bungie, make it HARD!
-
Removing the screen shake would require removing the unlimited range just for the sake of balance
-
I have a friend with Parkinson’s and he says this gun is an absolute beast!!!
-
Remove hardlight
-
Edited by Proto6unner: 11/11/2019 10:15:47 AMI haven't even noticed there is a screenshake different than others? And I grinded with Hardlight for the Vex Offensive for hours...
-
Seems like you need to get good with hardlight
-
Remove destiny 2 and install destiny 3. This game is old now.
-
I understand your frustration with Hardlight screen-shake, however while we will not be removing the Hardlight’s screen-shake we will add a Harlight ornament into Eververse. This will give it a better reticle and perhaps lessen the recoil for you! We will be selling it for 1400 Silver(Double the normal amount due to its uniqueness) or 10,000 Bright Dust some time in December. See you in the Cash Shop, Guardian! 🤟🏼

YEEEEEESSSSS!
-
Agreed, it's been Hard Shardit for as long as it's existed. Changing elemental damage types is a super cool ability, but it's otherwise a very middling weapon in an unrewarding weapon archetype. Removing screen-shake is step one, but it'd still be a middling weapon after that. Needs some love.
-
Yes please!
-
Its the only auto rifle I know or actively use that does it. Doesnt make sense.
-
Well they have to have the screen shake to balance it. Hardlight is one of the most op weapons in the game and needs that in accuracy to keep it in place. You act like it's an exotic weapon that has been made obsolete and would only need a few adjustments to put it in a good spot. No. It's already too powerful. Could you imagine if people didn't have a stroke while they fired it? How would you even compete with them?
-
In all honesty the screen shake isn't bad, i have no problem landing crits. The problem with hardlight is that it's an auto rifle. Suros, sweet business, monte carlo all can get damage buffs (sweet business is rate of fire increase) that's what makes them viable in pvp. Suros is still the best because it gets a damage buff and rate of fire increase near the end of the mag. Only way for hardlight to get a faster TTK is to bounce the bullets off surfaces, which is very hard to do. Again , and i think this needs repeating. The guns biggest flaw is that it's an auto rifle, the screen shake isn't that bad.

I think the catalyst should also provide Anti-Barrier rounds as a perk as well. That way, it’s Usable in PVE as well
-
Fixing is hARd, enjoy your nausea.
-
Replace the shake with a drunk screen effect instead
-
maybe a Catalyst that decreases ScreenShake
-
Yeah! Id actually use it if they did it. I was super excited when the catalyst came out. Literally the first strike I did when they came out it gave it to me and i completed that shit super quick but the screen shake is just too much and makes it unenjoyable to use.
-
The screenshaking has been a constant complaint in the community since D1. Its been 5 years and Bungie has not fixed it yet. They´ll most likely never fix it.
-
Edited by Tydrimar: 11/11/2019 1:28:54 AMThey would have to remove no damage falloff or else it will be op. The shake is what helps balance it. So I think it would be a good trade off. I rather have that.then again it might be still op.
-
It’s pretty bad. It’s hilarious that the catalyst gives it more stability but it doesn’t matter because of the shake. The PvE damage needs a buff as well. Takes almost half a mag to kill red bars sometimes in patrol. Autos need a buff in general IMO.
-
I can see bungie selling you a version of hard light that doesn’t shake screen for $10 from EV store.

Someone tried to say it's the best autorifle it's garbage
