Season 8: First Watch
Edit: I just realized it’s going through the elements. Ugh. Too long.
I’m going for the Undying title. I finally get the ability/melee kills requirement. It awards me the shaders, NOT the emblem, and resets the scoring requirement to 83% and the abilities/melee kills to 1%.
What gives? Is this bugged or is this an unreasonably long, multistep quest?

It's a mutli-step quest. First it wants void ability or melee kills, then solar, then arc. Look at the symbol at the beginning of the line on the quest step, it will tell you what element. I think it's 450 void, then 675 solar, then 900 arc kills. Nightfalls are the best way to progress this, from what I'm reading.
