For those who don’t know, Sealed Ahamkara Grasps allows you to reload your weapon from reserves if you punch something or hit something with your melee ability. Sounds good, and it kinda was. You could throw a smoke bomb or a knife at an enemy and reload your weapon, but the best strat was to use Knife Trick (the fan of knives). Each tick of damage caused by the burn reloaded you weapon, and that lasted for a few seconds (enough time to shoot six shots from a breach-loaded grenade launcher). It wasn’t overpowered, but it still was strong. Much like everything else, that got nerfed. HARD. Before there wasn’t a delay between when your weapon reloads. Now there is. A FIVE SECOND DELAY. That might not seem like much, but if you’re using anything outside of an LMG or a sniper, that is horrible. SAG was already an underused exotic due to how much better the others are, but now there’s hardly any use for it. They could’ve changed Knife Trick where the burn doesn’t count as a melee hit, or even made the delay a second long. That would’ve hurt, but it wouldn’t have destroyed the exotic. This long five second delay destroyed this exotic, and it’s no longer worth using in any scenario. Bungie won’t read this, I already know. But to any Hunter who used this exotic and are disappointed by this awful change, please speak out and get Bungie’s attention. This exotic didn’t need to be nerfed, let alone nerfed this hard. And if someone from Bunie is reading this, please do one of the following: remove the delay and make it so the burn from Knife Trick doesn’t count as a melee hit, or reduce the delay down to one second. It’ll keep the auto reloading, but it’ll be significantly weaker. TL;DR: Sealed Ahamkara Grasps got an unfair nerf that turns it from an overshadowed and underpowered exotic into another worthless hunter exotic, and any Hunter that used to use this exotic should help get the nerf reversed.
