While average bandwidth usage is considerably lower, Destiny may request up to 1 Mbps download and upload bandwidth.
Edited by Elysium: 11/8/2019 11:05:50 PMI know it.. but I'm asking this because some of us are stuck with this 0.5 upload speed. Perfectly stable connection.. no packets lost and really low ping. That's why I said something about a workaround for this problem.

Not possible. Simply too much data required. 11 other players you have to broadcast to at 30x a second. 3 servers need updates at least 10x a second. Then there is voice chat if that is in play. PLUS whatever else your system needs in the background.

Edited by Elysium: 11/8/2019 11:49:07 PMMy system doesn't use upload speed at all.. a workaround for me for example would be a way to disable voice chat if that can help to reduce the upload stream of data. If I had fiber available here to use of course I wouldn't be posting this but my ISP have no ETA on this for now.
And again.. I KNOW THIS.. I can read I'm asking for workaround or help.. not for someone to repeat to me things I already know
It is because it cannot be done. There is simply too much data that MUST be transmitted per second. If that amount exceeds the 512kbps upstream available on YOUR line, than YOU need to get more bandwidth. You did not meet the PUBLISHED requirements of the game... a standard that was essentially established 5 years ago.

You don't get it. There is no workaround. The only workaround there is is to get broadband internet.

You just keep repeating things I know already.
The workaround is getting more bandwidth. Period. The game requires 6gb of memory to run properly. If you only have 4gb, if it runs at all, it will likely not run properly. There is no workaround for that other than increasing your memory capacity. The same principle applies here. There isn't a bunch of extraneous data in those bursts. There is a cost component tied to how much data they move in and out of the servers, so they have it trimmed down to just what they need. They game needs more bandwidth than what you have. The only fix for that is for you to be able to upload more data per second than you currently are now. You need more throughput. That is all there is to it.
